With enough space to sleep up to 16 people and proximity to several outdoor adventure activities, Big Beal Lodge is the perfect retreat for family getaways, bachelor/ette parties, hunting trips, and everything in between.
The space
Michigan best kept secret in Glennie! Make yourself at home in this cozy, yet spacious 2,200 sq. ft. 3-story lodge. Comfortably accommodate your entire group with three bedrooms and a large loft space. The three bedrooms have a queen bed and a private entrance to the second-story balcony. The loft space has six twin beds and a futon, perfect for larger groups or kids.
There’s no shortage of fun things to do at or nearby the lakehouse. Start your morning with sunrise views of the lake with your morning coffee on the 3rd-floor balcony while lounging on the hammock, feeling the cool breeze from the lake.
Grab the kayaks that are onsite for a leisurely row away from the shoreline. Then, spend the day fishing for that big catch to have for dinner later. You can also rent a Pontoon for $300 per day by booking it online through the Boatsetter website.
Have an afternoon around the fire-pit while the kids take a dip near the shore, just steps away. Don’t forget the life jackets.
Looking to take your adventure offsite? Trailheads located just down the street are great for snowmobiling or using your ORV. Or you can grab your golf buddies and for few rounds at Eagle Ridge Golf Course, located just a mile away. It’s one of several golf courses in the vicinity.
Explore the trails of Largo Springs with its breathtaking wildlife and panoramic views of the AuSable River, or book a canoe trip. History buffs can learn more about Northern Michigan’s rich history in the lumber industry at Lumberman’s Monument.
After an adventurous day out, sit around the fireplace while you catch up on your favorite show. There are two large TVs with Direct TV access in the main areas, so it’s easy to keep everyone entertained.

Please do not wear shoes on the second or third floor to help keep the new carpet looking beautiful :-)
Snowmobiles and ORVs: snowmobiles, 4 wheelers and dirt bikes can be driven directly to the trails. Side by sides need to be 50 “ or less to be driven to trails, and fire trails are for licensed vehicles only.
IMPORTANT: For safety purposes, please put the fire out at the end of the night, using the hose on the side of the house.
Please do not move furniture inside!
Note: Unless arrangements made in advance, late checkouts will be charged a $25 fee for the first 30 minutes, and $25 for each additional 30 minutes.

This place is beyond what is described. Such a beautiful setting with amazing access to the lake. The top deck is perfect, I didnt want to leave. Worth every penny.

The house is exactly as advertised. Great place for large groups. Beautiful location and well taken care of home. Alyshia is great at communicating and was helpful throughout the booking and stay! Would 100% recommend to friends and family!

This house was perfect for a large group of friends to spend the weekend on the lake. House slept 11 people comfortably. Very nice house and great access to the lake.
