About this cabin rental
Enchanting serenity, rejuvenation & gorgeous views, exceptional access to endless ORV trails & state hunting land. Absolute peace & quiet 10 minutes from Gaylord, Otsego Ski slopes, Tree Tops & Otsego golf courses.
2,900 ft uniquely detailed log & stone cabin sits recessed on 10 acres of beauty. Front yard has a large porch, pond, fountain & stream. The back yard is especially spacious, entirely secluded, with wide trails throughout the woods of the back 9 acres. Solar lanterns illuminate both yards & the trail in the evenings.
18 Individual Beds: 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 2 pull-out sleeper sofas, 2 queen & 11 twin size air mattresses. $25 fee per night applies for each guest in addition to 14, wether staying the night or just visiting, such as with events and get togethers.

The Basics:
Everything is this space from the door mats to the furniture & beds is brand new and selected with your comfort, serenity and enjoyment in mind. The intention & vision was filling this log home with tranquility, uniqueness and fun for all ages. If anything whatsoever falls short of your expectations please let us know and we will do our absolute best to swiftly correct this & ensure you have a relaxing, fun & wonderful stay.
The space has three fireplaces, a variety of games through out & an eclectic assortment of rare steins, viking horns, and various drinking mugs and glasses. House rule: the drinking of beer is to be done from a stein or horn. You don’t choose it, it chooses you. You’ll see.
The living room has a 70” Hd smart tv & each of the three bedrooms has a 55” Hd smart tv. Login to your Netflix, Hulu, Amazon etc, or simply use airplay or cast. There are also three blue tooth speakers for your listening pleasure.
With a typical drip style coffee machine, a Keurig, a French press, an espresso machine, grinder & frothing pitcher, you can rest easy knowing we understand and are not messing around with the coffee situation at the True Nature.
Retreats:
This is a most ideal retreat space. You can actually hear the silence here, 24/7. The view of nature from both the front and back decks is divine. Enjoy a head-clearing, energy activating serene walk or jog through 8 acres of woods on widened trails accessed directly through the backyard, anytime you like. Exit the driveway and head in any direction for additional inspiring views.
Family Fun:
With it’s spacious floor plan and tavern-like dining room, 3,500 game 4 player arcade machine, electronic dartboard, ping pong, air hockey, full sized shuffleboard, rustic versions of all the classic board games, ring toss, table top shuffle boards, top shelf poker set, outdoor washers, corn-hole, nerf bows & arrows and real-club outdoor golf game this space will keep the fun going (or just the kids out of your hair) all week long.
Canoeing & Kayaking:
15 mins from the cabin.
UP North Paddle Sports, Gaylord MI
Golfers:
This space is within 15 minutes of the Tree Tops & Otsego golf courses, and comes equipped with a backyard corn-hole like gold game using real clubs to warm up & hone your swing. This is your chance to finally see what it's like to tee off on time, warmed up.
Hunters:
While hunting & gutting on the 10 acre property is not permitted by the host, it is also not necessary as it's only a three minute walk through the backyard and you're into 500 acres of state land!
Fishing:
Otsego Lake is 15 mins from the cabin and is the largest lake in the Gaylord area. It is an all-sports lake with paved public boat launches, docks, restrooms, picnic areas and beaches.
ORV Enthusiasts:
8 acres of trails in the backyard. 8 acres of trails, in the backyard. That isn't a typo, I just like typing it as much as you like reading it. As if that weren't enough - make a left out of the driveway, and another left at the dirt road about 200 yards - and there are more ORV trails than you could cover. Of course, do give it your best.
Guest Access:
There is more than ample parking for all your trailers and circle driveway to make loading & unloading all the easier.

Amazing stay! Cabin was full of amenities, fun games, and just beautiful. Outside property had bonfire pit, outdoor games, and landscaping was like being in your own private park. Loved the walking trails , the lanterns were magical! Would definitely stay again. So much thought and love has gone into this cabin

We needed a place that would hold my entire family comfortably and this house fit the bill perfectly! Great western cabin theme and neat little things to amuse the guests as well as an awesome game room in the basement. There’s a cool trail to explore the woods out behind the house. The grandkids loved it! Thoroughly enjoyed our time together and this place helped facilitate the family event! Thanks so much!
