About this apartment rental
Cozy, lovely ground level room in the gated "Kingsmill on the James" built by and nextdoor to Busch Gardens and only 4.5 miles to Colonial Williamsburg! (not part of Kingsmill Resort but Kingsmill Spa available with your stay!)
On street by tennis, lake and the famous River golf Course across the street, within walking distance of the marina beach where you can watch the summer Busch Gardens fireworks. Like a hotel room with own private entrance, own HVAC system and large sliding glass door opens onto your own deck with beautiful sunsets overlooking lovely tennis greenbelt surrounded by evergreens and woods where we've sighted bunnies, deer, squirrels, groundhogs, wild turkeys, gophers, ospreys. All single rooms in Kingsmill have adjoining suites available (see larger listing) with two locking doors between them (if guests are in the adjoining room, you may hear them). This is a lovely ground level room with no one above you, and no other unit attached to the back, surrounded by greenbelt, it's very peaceful being in a gorgeous bird preserve with your own deck for watching beautiful sunsets with nature surrounding you!
Walk to the Spa for pampering, the Mill Cafe for morning coffee and pastries on the lovely outdoor terrace or later for sandwiches during the day. Swim or sunbathe at our own private beach (restroom and shower in the marina building)....The room offers a mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker with a variety of coffees, microwave (not a kitchen) and many streaming services. Over 7 miles of walking and biking trails, historic sites, Audubon bird sanctuary, a nature lover's paradise. Visit the historic beach village at Yorktown where Washington won our independence, take the ferry to Historic Surry and dine at the famous Surry Seafood restaurant on the water or just spend a day following the Williamsburg Tasting Trail or try your luck at Colonial Downs Racetrack and Casino!

Love this place! Super comfy beds and soft linens, great shower water pressure, impeccably clean, tons of streaming channels available, watched the sunset from our own deck on the greenbelt and walked to the beach. Super attentive host. Will be back!

We love this room! The host is great! Wonderfully strong water pressure makes for a great shower. Peaceful, tranquil setting. Loved sitting on the deck overlooking the green belt and watching the sunset. Will definitely be back!

location was good for attractions. resort community is very nice. listing this as a condo is a little deceiving. the room & bathroom were nice, but this is actually an adjoined room off of a larger condo. Very little soundproofing. the first 3 nights, there was a family next door. We could hear every conversation they had, especially from the room that adjoined. The last night, diferent people were in the condo, & someone tried turning the latch & pushing on the adjoining door to come into our unit at 11pm. I don't know if they were aware that it was an adjoining room or not. Creepy all the same. The host was responsive to any questions, but would not stay in this kind of set up again
