The house has had a major renovation in 2018 to accommodate many, up to 19 people . The home sits on a large peninsula in a very big cove with a marina below.(Lumpkins)

This is our 3rd year spending vacation at SML. The property was chosen because of the number of rooms and bathrooms available. The house was perfect for our needs. Decor was very nice. We had a rough start as the entry code did not work. The towels were still in the wash and sheets were in the dryer wet. TV controls needed batteries and one ice maker did not work. The house slept 16 and we had 9 adults plus 2 kids. However there was an extra guest fee charge so be aware even though it slept 16 they can charge extra for a their set number of guests. The host was very accommodating when we needed to change our dog fee. The yard also looked as if it had not been taken care of. Many beautiful views from this property.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. It was a good fit for our party as we required a large number of bedrooms. Just a few suggestions: 1) We did not find a good selection of serving bowls but made do with what was there. Some more dinner forks would also be good. 2) We had a rental boat and think the dock would be better if the edges were padded in some way. Docking on the side with the metal ladder is also difficult due to the presence of the ladder.
Minor complaints: 1) The housekeeper was still at work when we arrived at check in time. We realize she was short handed that day but it was inconvenient for us. 2) One bed was not made up; however, it was not needed by our party so not a huge issue.
