Welcome to paradise! The Silly Sailfish is 1 of 8 stand-alone single-family homes within the 25-unit Coral Lagoon community. Home features include: convenient vehicle parking at the home, use of the 40ft boat slip positioned directly off the patio and located very close to the pool. We invite you to enjoy our clean and comfortable residence with its bright and open floor plan. The fully equipped kitchen is ready to cook and entertain. French doors open onto a large outdoor covered deck with electric grill, ample seating and beautiful water views.
The second floor has 3 bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and 2 full baths. The spacious Master Suite has a king bed with premium bedding, spacious closets, attached bath with walk-in shower and private balcony. The Queen Suite has a queen-sized bed with luxurious bedding and overlooks the resorts manicured lawn. The Twin Suite offers 2 twin beds and shares a full bathroom with the Queen Suite. Every bedroom has vaulted ceilings with a ceiling fan and TV with cable in addition to high-speed Wi-Fi Internet. Interested in boating or fishing??? Coral Lagoon offers access to BOTH the Atlantic and the Gulf within minutes! This is a LUXURY very few resorts offer!! The house itself was very big and plenty of room for a family with kids or a few couples that wanted to split a stay at one place. The host was great to work with. A few negative things some of which are not the host fault are 1- there were multiple dirty dishes put back in the cabinets. 2- check in was 330 and we arrived at 410 to find housekeeping still in the home cleaning which was 40 mins past check in time but we needed in the house so they asked us to finish the laundry in the washer/dryer. 3- the construction going on makes for a very long walk to get to the house from where you can park with all your belongings. The construction made quiet a few things inconvenient actually. We rented the house to be able to keep our boat right out front which didn't happen since the canal is closed so in turn we had to keep it at the marina that is at the location which none of this is mentioned in the description of the rental. Well keeping it at the marina cost us over 200 for 3 days and then you are charged 75 a day to keep a trailer on the property again none of which is in the description. The last thing is you also have to call your boat insurance company and add the marina as a insured to your policy while keeping your boat there which was a 45 min call that wasn't planned upon arrival of vacation. Overall as stated the house is great and the host was very responsive to messages id say this is a great place to stay as long as you don't go during this construction.

Wonderful! Easy to communicate with the host ahead of time. We are Floridians and drive down to the keys every year and try to stay in Coral Lagoon. This was our third stay within Coral Lagoon, and this was by far the nicest, cleanest, easiest experience thus far. We also rented a boat and were able to use the marina without a hitch. The location was quiet and private. We felt safe and had so much fun! Looking forward to our next adventure to marathon!

The house was nice and the host did advise us that the road to the side of our house would have construction. However what we didn't know is that the entire subdivision was a demolition area. They had ripped up all of the walkways along the canal. Everything was fenced off, and it was a mess. Had we known that in advance, we would never have stayed there.
