GORGEOUS, lake front property. Steps from water with designated boat dock. 30 minutes from Auburn. Enjoy lakefront vacationing in this spectacular home. This serene lake house on the shores of beautiful Lake Martin has 3 bedrooms and upstairs bonus room, 2 full bathrooms, and enough room to comfortably sleep 9 guests. The house was newly renovated and has dual air-conditioning units for the up and down stairs.
The space
Offering a prime waterfront location just 25 miles from Auburn University, our home has a living area with a lovely fire place, a flat screen TV, gorgeous views of Lake Martin and is just steps from the water. It’s a warm and comfortable environment with a fully stocked kitchen for home cooking with a dining area that will easily seat all guests. If you're not in the cooking mood there are several great restaurants within minutes of your perfect vacation spot. Everything from pizza to great southern cooking!
Relax lakeside on the patio, grassy area or on the dock watching the family enjoy the lake. With the house only steps away from the water, there is ample outside area for gathering and visiting and includes an outside dining area with charcoal grill. The property offers a boat ramp as well as trailer parking. We are on the quiet side of the 49th Street Bridge. So the bigger boats don't come down our slew making for minimal boat traffic. Our home is perfect for folks with fishing boats or smaller boats. This is a safe and relaxing spot for floating and swimming. Very kid friendly. Great swimming area in a safe lake side location. Secure your boat at our private dock, which is right in front of the home! To get to the “Big Water” of Lake Martin, there is a five foot clearance under the 49th Street Bridge. Most fishing boats, ski boats, run-abouts and pontoon boats will easily fit under that bridge. Boats with towers, hardtops and some tri-toons will not. Lakeside Marina is minutes from the house and rents pontoon and ski boats. Super convenient!
Sleeping arrangements include a luxurious queen-sized bed in the master bedroom . The second bedroom has a Queen-sized bed. The downstairs bed room has a Queen-sized bed. All bedrooms have smart tv's in the rooms. The bonus room sleeps 3 with a set of twin bunk beds and a sofa sleeper and a and 50 in Smart TV. The home also includes two full bathrooms, a laundry room, pantry and wet bar. Spectrum wifi provided. This house has everything you need for the ultimate lakeside retreat! Great for families, fishing and hunting excursions, a peaceful retreat or attending Auburn’s sporting events.

Our family enjoyed our visit to Lake Martin. This was our second time visiting the area. We loved the waterfront location and private dock. Very quiet and small neighborhood. We had no issues unloading our pontoon and making it under the low bridge in the property description. However, keep in mind you will need to lower your bimini and lay down low in your seat to make it under. Once you make it under the bridge you’re good to go. We spent everyday on the boat exploring miles of beautiful Lake Martin. We definitely recommend checking out Chimney Rock. There are several islands around the lake that have areas for anchoring at shoreline and enjoying a nice swim. Two of our favorite restaurants are located less than 10 minutes from this property. Niffers and Oscars. Both offer great food and excellent prices. The house offers ample space for families. The layout is a bit different than other places we’ve stayed. You’ll enter the property on the top floor which has 2 bedrooms, one bathroom and the bonus area. Downstairs you’ll find the living room, kitchen/dining area, another bedroom and bathroom, laundry room and access to the back patio and boat deck. Beds weren’t as comfortable as we would like, but that is personal opinion only. We would definitely recommend this rental to friends and family.

This place was absolutely perfect for my family's boating and watersports get-away. The house was exactly as shown in photos from the listing. There was a hiccup with check-in, though our host immediately rectified the problem and very much made things right. The bridge across Stillwaters Highway indeed provides a more secluded and less boat-trafficked area for great swimming and water-skiing. Our boat was able to fit under the bridge, so we often explored and enjoyed the deeper waters of this incredible lake. I would book this place again without a moment's hesitation.

Checking in process was easy. Communication with host was awful but he did allow an early check in. Still haven’t received a message back about the broken bed in one of the upstairs rooms. One couple had to sleep on the floor.FYI bring towels and everything else you’ll need .Other than that it was ok.
