Enjoy the best of Cape living at this peaceful hideaway, located on more than a half-acre of pristine land. Perks of this idyllic retreat include a deck surrounded by a tranquil, woodsy scene and contemporary furnishings. Stroll down the neighborhood shortcut path to explore the restaurants, galleries, and boutiques at Wellfleet Center Historic District. Lounge by the calm waters at Mayo Beach or along the sandy shore at Marconi Beach. Visit Wellfleet Harbor or cycle along the 25-mile-long Cape Cod Rail Trail.
The contemporary living area has comfortable seating and a TV, perfect for gathering together and unwinding. Your favorite recipes can be prepared in the spacious kitchen, featuring a full suite of appliances and helpful gadgets, then shared together in one of the two eating areas.
Toward night, rest peacefully in one of the comfortable bedrooms - there are three, and the third has a twin-over-full bunk bed with toys and a dollhouse, perfect for children! Additional amenities include complimentary WiFi and a washer/dryer. Beach chairs and a Pack N’ Play are also provided.

This two-story home is accessed via a flight of exterior stairs.
There is a window air-conditioning unit in each of the three bedrooms.
The fireplace is not operational.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We spent two relaxing weeks in this Wellfleet home and, for the most part, it was exactly what we were hoping for. The house was spotless when we arrived, the furnishings were comfortable, and every appliance and fixture worked without a hitch. We felt at home right away.A few small things kept the experience from being perfect:•Mosquitoes: The yard was swarming, especially at dusk. Some proactive treatment or citronella setups would make the outdoor spaces much more enjoyable.•Internet: Wi-Fi signal in the house was fine, but the actual connection speed was spotty - good enough for email and light browsing, not so great for streaming or video calls.•Entry & stairs: Access is via the rear door, and the path isn’t ideal. The steps are uneven, lighting is minimal at night, and the bugs make the trek a bit of an adventure after dark. Some grading work, better lighting, and a front-door option would go a long way.None of these issues was a deal-breaker, and we’d happily return if they’re addressed. With a touch more attention to the outdoor areas and connectivity, this place would be five stars.

Lived the privacy of this home as well as the space. It’s was my adult daughter, myself and her service dog - we did not use 2 of the 3 bedrooms, but the living and dining room were perfect for hanging out. The kitchen could use some updating. The outdoor space and siting area was our fave - and - being able to walk into the village of wellfleet was a huge bonus!
We are hoping to return next year however, the owner has not opened up the calendar yet. We will keep checking!

This is a great house, nice and large. it worked well for us as it has a bedroom and full bath on the main floor and there was concern about some of us going up and down stairs to the other bedrooms. Our stay was short, and we didn't do much cooking, so I cannot speak to how well stocked the kitchen is. There was an issue with the furnace when we first arrived, but the owner was very prompt with getting someone out to the house, and the heat was great after that.
