Lakefront rustic-chic/hot tub/game room/fire pit

"Pocket at Pocono Lake" is a 2,300 sq-ft lakefront home built in 2016, so it features modern conveniences but is accented with rustic-chic decor so your family can get a cabin-like experience in comfort and style. Guests enjoy the view of and activities on the gorgeous lake right in our back yard in addition to our private hot tub, fire pit, game room, screened-in porch, fully-stocked kitchen and open-concept floor plan so you can easily hang out for movies, meals, cocktails and games.

The space:
Outside: Private driveway parking. The lake is directly in our back yard! Screened-in porch with furniture. Deck with grill, lounge chairs and dining area. Private hot tub with jets and lights for night time. Fire pit area with chairs. House kayaks include 1 single and 2 doubles, 2 paddle boards and 5 life vests (1 for 30-50lbs, 2 for 50-90lbs and 2 for 75-125lbs).

Kitchen: Fully-equipped for cooking and baking! Appliances include full-size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, electric oven, toaster oven, blender, large and mini crock pots, griddle, hand mixer, waffle iron, drip coffee pot, k-cup machine, Nespresso machine (original capsule).

Dining Room: Table seats 10 and adjacent kitchen island seats 4 people.

Living Room: Wall of windows offering view of lake and wildlife, gorgeous slate gas fireplace with TV, 2 chairs, sectional couch with comfy blankets and pillows and tons of board games in the coffee table.

Downstairs Game Room: Separate wall heater. Games include basketball, air hockey, ping pong, connect four, foosball and a variety of sports equipment for good weather days (basketballs, soccer balls, footballs, etc).

Downstairs Master Suite (sleeps 2): King bed including pillows and comforter. Nightstands, TV, ceiling fan, dresser, full-length mirror, closet. View of lake, sliding glass doors lead to deck, blackout curtains. Bathroom features standing shower and separate soaking tub.

Downstairs Laundry Room: Full-size washer and dryer, iron and ironing board.

Upstairs Bedroom #1 (sleeps 2: Queen bed including pillows and comforter. Nightstands, desk/chair, TV, ceiling fan, dresser, closet. View of lake.

Upstairs Bedroom #2 (sleeps 5): Two bunk beds - twin/twin and full/twin - including pillows and comforters. Nightstands, TV, ceiling fan, dresser, closet.

Upstairs Bedroom #3 (sleeps 5): Full bed, twin bed, twin bed with twin trundle bed - including pillows and comforters. Nightstands, wardrobe.

Upstairs Bonus Area: Large hall features futon and TV so kids can watch a movie separately or plug in video games from home. Behind door, small kids' nook equipped with blankets and books.

Upstairs Full Bath: XL bathtub/shower combo.

Guests bring their own bed sheets, washcloths, bath towels, pool towels and toiletries.

Internet/Device Notice: Wi-Fi is included with your rental. The house is equipped with 4 smart TVs. so you may log into your personal account(s) as desired; there is no Cable subscription.

Arrowhead Lake is one of the leading privately owned, gated Communities in the scenic Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. Your family will thoroughly enjoy the experience of this small community environment where there's plenty to keep you busy inside the gates and only a short drive to major attractions outside the gates - and that goes for all 4 seasons of the year!

Arrowhead Lake amenities available to renters include (keep your registered QR code handy):
-2 lakes, Arrowhead Lake (our location) and North Arrowhead Lake
-3 pools (Island pool is heated and a 3-min walk from our home). Pools open for the weekends starting Memorial Day Weekend and open daily the third week of June.
-Rental shack offering boats, canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, bikes and fishing and sports equipment (cash only, last rental at 3:30PM)
-4 beaches for lake swimming with playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts
-Fishing (license must be purchased through Arrowhead Lake’s Member Services Department)
-Private community lodge offering year-round activities and events
-Welcome Center Lower Level (open 10AM-10PM daily) features vending machines, air hockey, pool tables, ping pong, television, board games, books, claw machine, giant connect 4 and more
-Fitness center equipped with free weights, cardio machines, row machines, a leg press, calf press, pec fly, and multi press machine (open 5AM-10PM daily)

***All Guests must be registered no later than a week before check-in***
Arrowhead Lakes has a strict guest registration process. In order for us to register you we will need the following info:

-Name, Email & Phone Number of Primary Renter
-Total # of Guests
-Total # of Guests over the age of 6
- Year, Make, Model, License Plate and the State that each Vehicle is Registered in, as well as the driver name for each vehicle

The registration fees are as follows:
-$8.50/day per person for all guests over the age of 6
-$20 fee for each vehicle
-$20 Rental Registration Fee

Getting around:
Feel secure in the gated community of Arrowhead Lake, where all residents and guests are registered and require a gate key for entry. Our home offers a private driveway that can fit 5-6 vehicles. We are within walking distance to Island Pool & Recreation Area, which offers a heated pool, baby pool with water features, tennis courts, playground, pavilion and water activity rental facility.

Additional considerations per the Arrowhead Lake Association guidelines:
Noise: Loud or irritating sound, by either voice or instrument, which disturbs the peace is prohibited. Please remember this is a community where many full-time residents reside and are not in "vacation mode" at all times.

Trash Disposal: Household garbage and recyclables must be separated and disposed of only at the Trash Collection Center located behind the Welcome Center. Hours of operation are 8 AM - 10 PM. Hours are subject to change during the holidays and inclement weather.

Pools & Beaches: Lifeguards have full authority in matters regarding the safety and conduct of all persons within the aquatic facilities. Swimming in the lake when lifeguards are not on duty is “at your own risk”. Children’s flotation devices, such as inflatable armbands, life vests or swimsuits with buoyancy aids, may be used when the child is under adult supervision. Water toys, rafts and diving equipment are NOT allowed in defined swimming areas. When a swimming area is contaminated by bodily waste, it will be shut down for a period of time for sanitation purposes. Children still in diapers must use approved swimming diapers

Fireworks: Fireworks are PROHIBITED everywhere in the Community, including on private property. Ground and hand-held sparklers are permitted.

Fires: Outdoor fires are allowed only in a barbecue grill or an elevated, outdoor fireplace with a protective screen to contain sparks.

Smoking: Smoking is NOT permitted within 20 feet of an entrance or inside any facility. Smoking is permitted in designated smoking areas only. This includes E-Cigarettes.
