Reuban was a great host!

The host did a wonderful job of orienting us and handling a minor issue that occurred. Professional, responsive and competent. The property is historic and stunning. Fabulous location.

When we first arrived, everything looked great. Nice and tidy unfortunately the air conditioning stopped working in the evening, but the host was able to accommodate and get an electrician out to help and get it fixed. Host also accommodated us by sending out a brand new blender which was super of them. We could only locate the bottom half of the blender at the house when we arrived. Never located a kettle had to boil water on the stove instead. Difficult to get hot water to run in the kitchen as well. Super cute record player was in the living room but it needs replacing it barely worked , all records are scratched and warped. Was quite disappointed in the condition of most of the outdoor furniture. The white wicker outdoor furniture was dirty, black and damaged. Outdoor wicker table with glass top was also broken and damaged on the one side of the pedestal leg. Two yellow umbrellas, one was next to impossible to open up. A lot of the tile on the patio is broken and quite a mess . Dirty hose left beside the patio they should have it put away or have it hung up some where .They really need to replace these items they are very tired and worn out. Extra chairs outdoors are hard metal or hard plastic would be nice if there were pillows for comfort. Outdoor patio set next to kitchen all cushions are ripped , stained. Indoors the shower drain and bathroom faucets need replacing . They are also rusty and discoloured. Great hosts but the house is very tired and disappointing.
