Immerse yourself in the perfect blend of privacy, convenience, and modern mountain comfort at the Teocalli 1 guesthouse. Perched high above the Mount Crested Butte Ski Resort, this hidden gem sits close to both the resort base and the charming, historic town of Crested Butte. It is still a tranquil retreat, set in a quiet residential neighborhood with jaw-dropping views of the surrounding mountains.
In winter, enjoy ski-in/ski-out access via a ski trail directly across the street. Please note that this route requires intermediate (blue-level) skiing ability. Beginners can hop on our complimentary First Tracks Shuttle to the base area instead. In summer, the same area opens up to hiking and biking trails right outside your door. Inspired by the iconic ski bowls of Mt. Crested Butte, Teo 1 is one of two guesthouses on the property, and each has its own private hot tub.
Embrace a car-free getaway. The First Tracks Shuttle takes you to the Base Transit Center, where free buses connect you to the old mining town of Crested Butte and on to Gunnison.
The guesthouse is meticulously maintained and cleaned. Cook on precision induction cooktops in the fully stocked kitchen, unwind under soothing rain showers, and enjoy heated bidet toilets and hydronic heated floors. A dedicated driveway mudroom and supremely comfortable queen beds round it out.
After a long day on the slopes, your new private 5-person Vita Spa, complete with a lounger and flame tower, is the perfect spot to watch the sunset or stargaze.

no surprises. everything as presented. gloria was quickly on top of an internet connectivity glitch and got it resolved quickly. a very nice quiet place to stay in mt crested butte that is close to good hiking and downtown crested butte activities.

This property is beautiful. It’s clean and has all the amenities - from a personal hot tub to a high tech toilet (lol). The location is great. It wasn’t truly ski-in-ski-out when we stayed due to the lack of snow this year, but it’s close enough proximity to the lifts to walk and there is a free transportation service. The hosts are phenomenal. They checked in several tim;es to make sure we had everything we needed. They’ve thought of everything to make the stay amazing from slippers and robes to little snacks and coffee and a very well stocked kitchen and bath. Dave even stood out in sub-zero windchill weather to help us work the heating lamp at the hot tub and turn on Christmas lights for us. We loved staying here and will come back every time we come to Crested Butte.
