The home is located 1 mile from downtown Harpers Ferry, less than 1.5 miles from the Mississippi River, 7 miles from Yellow River State Forest, 10 miles from Effigy Mounds National Monument, 14 miles to the Casino Queen in Marquette, and so much more.
Our family uses this cabin throughout the year, so rather than sit empty, our hope is that others can enjoy all that the NE Iowa area has to offer.

The cabin was the perfect size for my husband and I and our 3 kids. The one bedroom was geared more towards kids, so they loved sleeping on the bunk beds with the pull out mattress. The kitchen was spacious for us to cook meals while we were there. It was nice and clean upon arrival. We had a great stay!

Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Very responsive host. Clear instructions for check in and check out. Useful information for our stay in Harpers Ferry. At the house we had everything needed for our stay. We enjoyed hiking in Yellow River state Forest and Effigy Mounds National Monument during our stay.

Great cabin to stay in, our family enjoyed the openness of the kitchen and living area as well as the bunk beds in the bedrooms. Area was quite with great scenery. We will definitely try to stay again if we are in the area and the cabin is available.
