Upon entering the gates into the private courtyard – ideal for morning coffee or evening cocktails -- you’ll feel transported to your own desert oasis! Inside the home, saltillo pavers and hand-painted Mexican tiles harken back to the historic spirit of the La Quinta Resort, which is just down the block!
A sundrenched kitchen with breakfast nook overlooks the courtyard, while the Great Room boasts soaring vaulted ceilings, skylights, a cozy gas fireplace, a dining area with a bar, and showstopping vistas of the Santa Rosa mountains.
The generously sized Primary Bedroom offers a King bed, multiple closets, mountain views, and sliders to the back patio. Its ensuite bathroom includes a double sink, an oversized tub, and a private water closet.
The delightful Guest Bedroom offers a queen bed, views to the courtyard, an attached bathroom, built-in cabinetry, and a custom closet with hard-carved details.
This home is currently only available for monthly stays – allowing you plenty of time to experience the life-changing magic of desert living. Bring your computer…”work from home” won’t feel like work with tranquil and relaxing views from nearly every room! Or take a few weeks to brush up on your game(s)…you can lower your golf handicap or up your NTRP rating with a series of lessons from the pros at PGA West and La Quinta Resort! Our community, Santa Rosa Cove, offers 10 pools with hot tubs as well as three tennis courts. Though you will not have access to specific guest privileges at La Quinta Resort (like room service, the pools, tennis courts or fitness center) you’re still welcome to take advantage of the resort’s many public amenities: Spa La Quinta and its salon, the many restaurants and outdoor entertainment at the Plaza, private lessons at the tennis club, as well as rounds and lessons at two golf courses…all just moments from your front door.
In addition, Old Town La Quinta -- with its quaint shops, Sunday Farmer’s Market, and popular restaurants – is a leisurely stroll or short car ride away.

This is a very dated unit with a lot of potential but in need of some serious updating and TLC. In addition, nearly every closet was unusable because already stuffed with bedding and pillows etc. Nearly every cabinet in the kitchen was already filled so had to be rearranged so we could put our food away. The unit was advertised with a 2 car garage which could not be used as it already contained a fairly classy Mercedes and a golf cart and couch and assorted pillows tossed about the floor. The unit needed to be deep cleaned as registers etc had layers of dirt. Other assorted issues needed attention. On the plus side, the unit is right next to a seldom used warm pool and spa which we used nearly every night. It is in a great neighborhood with lots of grass and easy walking distance to the LaQuinta Resort which is filled with beautiful floral gardens etc. The few neighbors we met were very friendly. The unit manager was prompt to meet some of the issues that arose during our stay except for a broken chair leg, which was only a minor inconvenience. Unfortunately the unit did not meet the standards we usually see in renting other VRBO units.
