Truly appreciated the openness inside for containing the kiddos when we needed time to relax. I loved the outdoor space being fully enclosed for the same reason! Great home for multiple families, lots of sleep options and bathrooms for privacy.We weren’t too bothered but there is a very active train that has Amtrak frequently passing with some horns. Loved the walkability to moonlight beach, parks, and other cute spots nearby. The house is well stocked, it’s a big wish but travel to homes like this is amazing with kids and we often cook- if there were a few more nice to haves like cooking oil or pantry like items it would be a bonus. Otherwise, we had all we needed!

We had a wonderful time on our spring break trip to Encinitas. The home was immaculate when we arrived, with a very well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. Cheryl thought of everything you would need for a beach vacation, and we were more than comfortable as a family of 5, however the home could easily accommodate a much larger group. The kids loved the air hockey table, and we loved the hot tub. It was private in the backyard with pretty landscaping. Cheryl was extremely responsive and more than willing to accommodate our needs. The only drawbacks were the fact that all of the beaches within walking distance were closed for dredging, and the train does run right across the street from the house so you can hear it. That being said. It seemed to stop around 9:30 pm and I didn’t hear it again until after I woke up in the mornings, so it didn’t really bother us. We would certainly stay here again!

This property was AMAZING!! We had 4 adults and 2 kids, aged 11 and 8. The BRs had multiple beds. Kitchen had 2 dishwashers, 2 sinks, huge stove, and EVERYTHING well stocked. And 3.5 bathrooms! We enjoyed the hottub and air hockey table, as well as beach toys. I would highly recommend this property; easy, reliable communication with the manager.

This spacious property was pristine and well-located with easy walking access to downtown Encinitas, 101 and nearby beaches. The beds and couches were very comfortable, and everything was super well-organized -- we loved the kitchen and adjoining living room area. The hot tub was lovely, as well. Everything appeared to be recently remodeled; bathrooms were very nice and one even featured a bidet toilet. And our family, who we were visiting, were just a mile down the road. Further, it was quiet at night and allowed for a restful sleep. We would absolutely stay here again!

My family loved our stay here. Tons of space, 4 bathrooms, large well stocked kitchen, big driveway. About a 12 minute walk to moonlight beach. We found ourselves driving with the kids and parking. Parking was pleasantly available. The house came with 2 different sets of keys. This caused a few issues for the group as different folks came back to the house at different times. It would have been nice to have the keypad on the front door working instead. Overall great spot and would recommend to others!

I think its one of the most thought through properties I rented through VRBO. The house has everything you might need in Encinitas, kitchen is spacious and has so many cooking appliances. The house was super clean and well orginized. Bedroms were so comfortable we slept in every morning instead of going to the beach. Highly recommend!

Came to Encinitas for a beach trip after visiting Disney. This was such a nice place to get away after the hustle and heat of being near LA. The kitchen is 5 star. Has everything and more of what you would need. The whole house is very comfortable. A/C worked okay, took awhile to get the house cooled down and it’s set on a weird schedule, but my husband figured out how to get it to work. I was worried about the train noise, but it never bothered us. It is possible to walk to the beach, but you have to walk on the road with no sidewalks, pulling a wagon with beach stuff. It wasn’t as easy breezy as I was hoping. But, it is possible. House provided all beach toys and towels for a great few days. Weekends get crowded, but that is to be expected. Encinitas is such a cute little town. The house was just far enough away so you are isolated from the noise of the main drag. Would definitely stay here again!

We booked the house to accommodate our family of eight visiting my mother for Thanksgiving. Very clean and spacious, well stocked and comfortable. Very short walk to Moonlight beach and downtown Encinitas. I also got to visit one of my favorite spots, the SRF Meditation Garden. My wife has already stated: "I want to stay there again". Zero complaints and was able to manage a late booking. Very impressed, thank you!

We rented this property to celebrate my mom's 90th birthday and it was perfect! We had 7 people and we were very comfortable. Each couple/family group had their own room and bathroom and the living areas had plenty of seating for all of us. The property was super clean and well stocked. This was my first VRBO, but my SIL said she's stayed in a few and this was by far the best one. The only negative was the metal bunk bed as it was super creaky and noisy. My daughter and I ended up sleeping on the LR sofas because we kept waking each other up every time we moved, but we were still perfectly comfortable on the sofas. The train noise might be problematic for some, but didn't seem to bother us too much. We would definitely rent this spot again next time our family is in town.

I Was visiting the area for colleges. I love the area and you can walk to town, beach, shops, and dinner. Air hockey and hot tub so fun for grown Ups and kids. Plenty of beach supplies and place was quite spacious for everyone. Host was responsive and flexible. I would give this place a 4.5 (not 4) only because of a bit of train noise . I would certainly stay here again- it’s a gem and reasonably priced. Thank you!

The property was exactly as expected, but bigger! It was perfect for the 5 of us to stay in, everyone had a bed - and there was an empty bed. There was coffee, tea, and all the cooking fixings; we were able to cook one night with spices etc. The hot tub and outdoor shower was clutch and we used daily post surf. About a 5 min drive to Swamis break, very easy. Walkable to shopping and food. Communication was immediate and helpful, will definitely stay here again. Thank you!
