Hotel El Guía

Location is excellent for exploring the city. Rooms are comfortable, and ours had an exceptional mountain view. The small pool was excellent for cooling off on hot days.

it would be helpful to have advance warning about what streets to use (or not use!) when driving to the property. Our offsite parking was a littel difficult to manage, but manage we did.

Everything there is nothing not too like it’s a lovely hotel and staff are superb

Vintage Charming decor. Very clean, value for money

Location is the best thing about this property, in the centre of Soller. Room was clean, if a little small & poorly laid out and housekeeping was good generally, with a few notable exceptions. Shower was excellent, despite bathroom mirror light & reading light in bedroom not being fixed for 1 week while we were there

Breakfast was adequate at best, scrambled egg & other hot items were continously recycled day after day. A surprising lack of fruit available considering you are in Majorca, and what was available was neither juicy or sweet. Poor choice of bread & pastries, in fact one morning was informed that "all pastries were gone" at 9.10 AM. So not many supplied is all I could assume. A charge was imposed for refills of still water, never came across this before in 30 years of coming to Majorca, it was labelled as an "environmental measure", grabbing measure more like. Public area's were not cleaned often, e.g. poolside table left all day with food waste & cans not removed, unheygenic in the heat at best. Staff were apathetic/disinterested, purely commercial vibe from all of them, not very helpful or friendly, had to pursue them to get service, as they appeared to be endlessly busy with important tasks when one approached them.
