Great place to stay in the city center. The parking is quite far from the hotel, but it is fine :)

We arrived at the hotel after a long trip, exhausted and expecting to get some rest. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room wasn’t working, and we had to stay awake until around 1:00 AM while maintenance came to fix it. What made the experience even more disappointing was the way it was handled. I had booked two rooms—one for my mother and son, and another for my husband and me. My 4-year-old son decided to sleep in our room that night. When the maintenance staff arrived, he commented that the room was “supposed to be for two people, not three,” implying that my 4-year-old son was somehow the reason the air conditioning wasn’t working. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, they tried to make an unnecessary excuse that had nothing to do with the actual issue. In the end, the problem was fixed and the air conditioning worked perfectly, proving that my son’s presence was never the cause. After such a long journey and a stressful night, the last thing we expected was to be met with excuses instead of a sincere apology. Better customer service and a more professional approach would have made a big difference.

Room was clean but had no view and was on the top floor with no elevator or assistance with bags. Cleaning staff was slow and missed my room one night because they didn’t get there until 4pm when I needed to get ready for dinner. Barged in on me anyway after repeatedly saying no to their knocking. Way overpriced for a hotel that does not care about you.

Staff was rude, unhelpful, and not welcoming. Parking is a nightmare. Only spot to park is on the main road about 15min from the property, despite saying they have private parking. If you want access to their lot, it’s an additional fee you must reserve separately and they probably won’t have a space for you. You don’t really want to be driving a rental car on the narrow streets of the town near there anyway, it’s super hazardous. Lots of different street parking and small lots in the area with different colors and different rules, called the front desk to ask for assistance and they said “just google it” (Google didn’t have the answers I was looking for while behind the wheel in a busy unfamiliar city) only to find out when I finally made it there to check in, that they had a printed document on the desk that answered my very question. Ended up having to waste money on paid parking too far away, and needed to move my car again when they simply could have explained the parking listed on the card right in front of them over the phone and saved me an hour+ of chaos. Not willing to help with recommendations in the area either. Overall, I get the impression that soller is a city they want people day tripping to, not staying in.
