This beautifully constructed airbnb was designed just for your getaway. A long front porch lined with white rocking chairs (even a few tiny chairs for your little ones) will host you on summer evenings as you watch the sunset over the pond and the fireflies dance around in the moonlight.

This "barn" home was absolutely beautiful? Every detail and every possible need were readily met or available upon arrival! This was the perfect location and home for our family to travel and meet to enjoy my daughter's wedding only 6 mins. down the road! There was plenty of room for everyone (6 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs) to comfortably get ready, enjoy breakfasts together, and when needed to just relax!

The barn was exactly as shown but the extras were the surprise! Such a unique and relaxing place to stay with plenty of room for 6 adults and a dog. We found everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable and the cookies Barb left us were delicious. A perfect host and a perfect place for our stay to visit with friends and family in the area. We highly recommend!!

The Bearcreek Barn is outstanding. 6 family members were in town for a weekend of ballgames at PNC Park. We were not disappointed with Bearcreek Barn in any way. It is well appointed and equipped, is clean and very comfortable and has all amenities for a great stay. Barb is a super host. We have only booked 5 star VRBOs over many years and this was among the very, very best!!!

Without a doubt, one of the best VRBO stays we've had over the years. We are three guys who travel around the country to play golf and volunteer at golf tournaments. We were in town to work the US Open at Oakmont and were fortunate to find these accommodations on VRBO. We LOVED the location, and the Barn was perfect. Thank you, Barb, the cookies and muffins were exceptional. If we ever return to Western PA, we will certainly try to rebook this beautiful and exceptionally well-supplied lodging.

This rental is just perfect in every way! From the moment we arrived to the time we reluctantly had to depart was truly amazing, relaxing, and enjoyable. The barn was spacious and very clean and felt like "home." The chocolate chip cookies were D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S. There were so many unexpected and appreciated amenities offered; even a toy corner. The scavenger hunt was really fun participating as well as watching the competitive side come out in the adult children. (We never were able to find the cow.) Being able to feed the coy and the birds were also a huge plus. And, the location fit our family needs perfectly. Thank you for the gifts and a very enjoyable, memorable stay. We would have to say our 3 year-old grandson sums Bear Creek Barn up the best, "I just love it here"!

I can’t even express enough how perfect this little barn worked for us. It’s both cozy and spacious, and so clean and beautiful. I had to communicate with the owner a few times before our arrival and each time she responded so quickly and was so accommodating. We flew in from Colorado to visit family in the area and had them over for dinner one night and everyone loved it. There was plenty of room to eat, plenty of space to visit, others took a nap on the comfy couches or watched football on the tv. Thank you so much for letting us stay here and have a great visit!

I was absolutely amazed that a property as well appointed and in such an idyllic location was available in Sarver. A quick 15 minute drive to Tarentum it was the perfect place to stay while visiting family. The quaint country road is resides on was quiet and convenient to local restaurants and shopping. This ranks in the top three VRBOs I’ve stayed at. The plateful of home made chocolate chip cookies that were waiting for us were to die for! We’re so glad we opted for this place over three hotel rooms.

We rented the barn for an entire week and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. We pulled in on a Friday evening after a 13 hour drive and we were greeted by fireflies, a rainbow, delicious cookies and even goodie bags for our grandchildren and dogs. The house was well stocked and spotlessly clean. We can’t wait to return.

We had a great time in Sarver visiting family. This property is very nice- spacious, clean & comfortable. Rooms upstairs have openings above the doors so bring fans/white noise machines to drown out the sounds of night owls & early risers.

We really enjoyed this property, as did our puppy. The cabin was surprisingly well stocked- enough to cook a Thanksgiving meal, as well as kitchen, laundry, etc. Would recommend. Our only complaint is the bed in the master was not comfortable. A new mattress and we would return repeatedly.

The house exceeded our expectations as it is much larger than the pictures indicate. Very spacious kitchen and the awesome large table was perfect for our loud family to yell across during meals and games. The bathrooms are great and the hot water tank held up while all of us were getting showers nearly simultaneously as we got ready for a wedding. The only downside was that the wifi was very intermittent and slow, and the satellite TV was also poor. We were unable to watch anything without the signal constantly cutting in and out. While this was not a big deal for our group, anyone expecting to remotely work while staying here should be aware. The covered porch turned out to be a great feature when we were completely rained out one morning. It was nice to sit outside for coffee while listening to the rain. Overall this is an excellent property and the host was incredibly fast at responding and meeting our needs. And the cookies were pretty spectacular, too! Thank you, Barb!

Great place for our family this weekend. We had a wedding at Armstrong Farms and this was a short drive to the venue. Nicely appointed, great setup for kids, comfy beds, Everything you could ask for. Hostess was very responsive to questions and flexible with regard to checkin and check out. Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay for the long weekend! Our host Barb was always available to answer any questions during the entire process -- and she greeted us at check in with cookies! We were in town for Pitt graduation weekend and enjoyed our stay outside of the city. (It's about 35 minutes in to Oakland/Pitt Campus.) We spent time in historic Saxonburg (about 10 minutes up the road), took a hike on the Butler-Freeport Trail (trailhead about 1 mile down the road) and just enjoyed hanging out at the property. Everything was spotless! Loved the extra blankets - it was a chilly weekend - and the 'puzzle art' decor. Very homey and comfortable. And thanks to Barb for the cute "Barn" coasters that were a gift to the guests. Well done on all levels! You won't regret staying here :)

The barn was exactly as listed! Spacious with all the amenities to make our stay wonderful. Hiking trails were easily accessible. The owners were quick to respond and brought a new blender when I mentioned if there was one in the property. Definitely recommend!

I am so glad that I found this place for Christmas get away. My friend’s family and our family enjoyed so much and made another special memory here. It is so much comfortable than any hotel. Barn home was a great getaway

We selected the Barn house to celebrate thanksgiving, a wedding anniversary, and a birthday. When we arrived fresh baked cookies and even a dog treat and toy greeted us. Our host, Barb, helped us find a caterer and a bakery. With three bedrooms everyone had enough space but also enjoyed playing games at the kitchen table or watching TV in the family area. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Pittsburgh and just ten minutes from Saxonburg, a cute small town complete with a couple of restaurants, bakery and coffee shop. We recommend a stop. One drawback is there is not much insulation, between rooms, so emptying the dishwasher woke the person who was sleeping above the kitchen. Lots of outside space for the our dog to run (on a leash). It was clean and warm. The hosts supplies plenty of supplies like towels and paper products. Washer and dryer were a great convenience. We were very comfortable staying there and would recommend it.

A great little place for a weekend escape, all the amenities you need and Pittsburgh is just about 30 minutes away. Make sure you get the downstairs bathroom on your stay, it’s probably one of the coolest bathrooms I’ve ever been in. Very much enjoyed it!
