About this house rental

Explore 40 acres, soak in the whirlpool tub, watch a movie or play PlayStation in the theater room, take a hike along the stream, sit on the expansive front patio with a coffee, target practice at the shooting range area, or roast s'mores & make mountain pies at the firepit. Enjoyed the house very much, very clean lots of outdoor space enjoyed the front porch.

The property was a little smaller than the pictures indicated but it was clean and private. The host was easy to work with and responded quickly to texts. The outside porch area is nice but could use a good cleaning and the fire pit is not close to the house. To get to it you must go down a small hill.

We stayed at Douglas's home to be close by to the venue of my son's wedding. What a cute gem. The decorations were fabulous. It was quiet. My friend left her luggage and luckily Doug had come by and noticed before she got all the way back to her house. If you want to unplug there was not great cell service BUT wifi was great and we could connect that way. My son was very impressed with the collection of games and the hidden compartments in the house.

Wonderful property amenable host. Nice secluded layout. Key feature for us was the fenced in pet play area/toddler play area lol!One thing to know because it is an older farmhouse the basement has low ceilings. To enjoy the home theater room and stand straight up. You need to be under 5 foot five.Secondly, the upstairs bedroom is a captive bedroom meaning one needs two walk-through another bedroom to enter it. There is not common access to the second upstairs bedroom.Really great host and absolutely wonderful fire pit. Would stay again!
