Welcome to your 23rd-floor, one-bedroom condo with a view! Drop those bags at the door and walk down the hallway past twin bunk beds – the kids will love those – to reach your main living space. First things first: slide open the double glass doors and step out onto the balcony. From this height, the covered balcony provides a great view up and down the Gulf. Settle in back inside and then head out to explore the area. But first, prep an easy snack or some lunch in your well-equipped kitchen. You’ve got a full suite of appliances, plenty of counter space, and all the gadgets you need on hand. Grab a quick bite at the dining room table, or post up at the breakfast bar, which seats four.
You’re steps from the sand, and all the restaurants, bars, mini-golf, golf courses, and parks of Panama City Beach are an easy walk or quick drive away. If you want to stick closer to home, your condo provides access to a shared gym, several pools, including a kid’s pool, and a hot tub, as well as shuffleboard and a fun giant chess set. After a day out of exploring, come back to your cozy condo and call your spot on the couch for some TV time, courtesy of the flatscreen. Before bed, step back out on your balcony and watch the stars rise over the Gulf.

The location was great. We were able to walk to dinner each night and only had to drive to go to an excursion one day. The facility itself had so much to do and everything we needed. Elevators were easy to get and were quick. This has been an issue at other resorts. Unit was right on the beach and very comfortable for our family of three including a teen. Could have easily had 1 or 2 more people and still comfortable. The unit was fully equipped. We will likely be back.

This unit wasn’t anything fancy but it was very convenient and accommodating for my family during fall break. We always enjoy coming to the gulf coast in October and decided this resort would fit our family best. Beach access was easy to get to but did not have any ramps which made pulling our wagon across the ramp to get to the beach difficult. It required two men to carry the wagon down the stairs. Other than that, the pools were great for all ages and it was great having two options so neither pool was ever crowded. The room itself was basic but fit our needs nicely for our time there. Being on the 23rd floor provided great views of the ocean. Everything was decently clean and there were ample towels, wash cloths, toilet paper, and dishwasher detergent. I do wish the kitchen was more well stocked with dishes…. maybe some plastic or melamine plates and bowls so not everything is glass or ceramic. We ended up buying paper plates/bowls/forks and used those most of the time. Overall we loved our stay and enjoyed our time at Emerald Beach Resort. It will definitely be considered again!

The initial check-in is very confusing & there is no one to directly speak to; once going to the room, you are left with warning signs & notes ALL over the room; the balcony lock did not work & that was a bit scary; you are provided armbands for the stay but are required to leave the armbands when leaving, which indicates the armbands are being reused, which is quite disturbing & is a huge sanitary issue with me (very disgusting actually); the elevators are a nightmare as well as the parking garage; overall the stay was good, just very confusing & frustrating in the beginning, as well as the worry of being charged for things due to the excessive amount of threatening letters posted all over the room.
