Welcome to this cozy two-bedroom two-bath cottage located on H-58 on the east side of town. Enter through the delightful front door foyer into the living room with comfortable seating and charming details of the reclaimed wood coffee table and board games galore. The kitchen features vintage-style cabinetry and high top table and chairs for four. Continue on to the first bedroom features a full-size bed with a bathroom next door in the hallway. The master bedroom has a private bathroom and a queen-size bed. Equipped with a wide driveway and spacious garage to store your toys, as well as a spacious mudroom with a washer and dryer. We found Carter’s Cottage had everything we needed for our stay. It was only a few blocks from restaurants. We loved the large laundry room for removing our wet boots and clothes after spending the day stone hunting. Having two bathrooms was a bonus.

Was even better than expected. New furniture in bedroom was lovely.Only complaint was the frying pans need replacing. The cooking surface is coming off.

Grand Marais is a quaint town, very friendly people. Many outdoor activities, sites to see. We especially enjoyed the view of the dunes from the Log Slide in the Pictured Rocks National Park. Carter's Cottage was very welcoming, clean and conveniently located!! We'd stay here again.

Perfect size for the 4 of us. Loved that we had access to the garage since we brought our ebikes. Very close to town.
