About this cabin rental
Cabin for rent in the Upper Peninsula. This cabin is located on the corner of 451 and 77. Located a 1/8 mile from the groomed snowmobile trails (443), and located (11 miles from either way) halfway between Seney and Grand Marais. Cabin has 1 bunk room with 2 full size bunk beds and two single bunk beds and 1 queen bed also a pull out couch, please provide your own sheets. Full bathroom with stand up shower and washer and dryer. There is a gas grill outside for your use and a portable fire pit off of the patio for your enjoyment around a small fire. There is wood in the woodshed. A deposit of half is required prior to stay. Things to do in the summer.... Seney has the Seney National Wildlife Reserve..... Grand Marias....Log Slide, Beach, lighthouse, kayaking and stand up paddle board rental and 4 wheeler rental. Not too far you have Pictured Rocks, Oswald Bear Ranch Tahquamenon Falls and Sable Falls. Check in is 3pm unless a different Arrangement has been made and check out is 11 a.m. Sometimes able to work with you on the minimum staying period, just call. This cabin will not disappoint.

The cabin was clean, the hosts were very helpful to us with our questions. We used this as a home base for traveling to other parts of the state but would also be perfect if used for fishing or hunting excursions.

This was the perfect place for our family when we visited the UP. The property is secluded and quiet, and the cabin is roomy for its size. There were a lot of fun touches and comforts that made it feel like home. It was close to various spots along the Lake Superior shoreline and towns nearby, which made it easy to explore while we were there. Would highly recommend!

Great girls trip! Plenty of room in the cabin, for sure. Very “up north” decor, which is what we expected. Was surprised regarding all the extras provided such as spices and things like that. Did not get a chance to enjoy the yard at all. Was not aware that the mosquitoes in June were so very very bad in the area. We hiked the local and rock hunted on the beaches every day after spraying our mosquito net shirts with deep woods off. What we DIDN’T like was having to run between the house and the car and STILL getting assaulted. You know it is bad when you pull into the drive and immediately have 50 of them knocking on the windows. Unfortunately, it was impossible not to end up with some in the house. Live and learn regarding season!!!! Host very nicely had deep woods off available for us, in addition to our own. Word is mid May-mid July is the worst. Didn’t love having to drive the trash down the road and pay to put it in the party store’s dumpster, but that just could be the way it is done up here. No cell service was both a blessing and a curse, of course. Loved to un chain, but made getting directions and checking hours of things when at the cabin difficult. We learned to take advantage when we could. Cabin was in a GREAT location to see everything we wanted to see and everywhere we wanted to go. Beds were comfortable, water tasted good and got hot fast. Very relaxing but busy 4 nights at this charming cabin!
