Located in a large house in the heart of the picturesque village of Lescun (900 m above sea level)—the starting point for numerous hikes—this approximately 120 m² vacation rental is attached to another unit. The ground-floor entrance is shared, but also provides access to the garden via the terrace. The apartment is located on the first and second floors. It faces south and offers a beautiful, unobstructed view of the Ansabère, Billare, and Pic d’Anie mountains. It consists of a large living room with a fireplace insert, opening onto the terrace and garden, and 3 or 4 bedrooms (check with the owner for details).
Ample parking space next to the house.
Numerous hiking trails (120 listed in the Cirque de Lescun) as well as skiing (resorts 30 minutes away: Astun and Candanchu), Espace Aménagé du Somport, snowshoeing, rock climbing, paragliding, rafting, mountain biking, fishing, horseback riding, or simply relaxing in a stunning setting... Lescun, a picturesque little mountain village at an altitude of 900 m, is—along with its cirque—one of the most beautiful villages in the Pyrenees. Close to Spain via the Somport Tunnel.
The village offers several local services: a tourist information center for details about village life and hiking trails, a restaurant, two bars, a tobacco shop, a post office, and a multi-service convenience store with fresh produce, bread, pastries, meat, and more. Everything you need so you don’t have to go down to the valley to stock up on supplies.
Regional products: mountain cheese from the Pyrenees, made and aged on-site.

Tout était bien pensé, pour passer un très bon séjour. Le gîte est situé dans le joli village de Lescun. Possibilité de ballades au départ du gîte.

Pour un confort comme à la maison! Gîte bien équipé et spacieux avec une localisation parfaite dans le village. Idéal pour des vacances en famille à la montagne (1O personnes dont un bébé). L' équipement et le confort y est remarquable! On notera également l'accueil des propriétaires très apprécié pour leur disponibilité et leur précieux conseil pour des visites, randonnées, activités dans la vallée et environs. Des tiroirs plein de cartes, de documentation et jeu de société. Il y a tout pour passer le temps qui...est souvent trop court!
Pour ceux qui recherche un village authentique, Lescun est l'endroit rêvé! Avec une ouverture sur la montagne, le féru de marche, escalade, randonnée, canyoning, parapente, chevaux, balade historique... y trouvera sans compte. Pour celui qui cherche la simplicité et le calme de la montagne, c'est également un choix de taille.
Nous pensons sérieusement à revenir l'année prochaine!

Nous soulignons en particulier la qualité de cette location: l'aménagement du logement a été optimale pour trois couples, notamment au niveau du volume et de l'aménagement du séjour, la parfaite propreté du lieu et la richesse de son équipement. En outre nous avons particulièrement apprécié de disposer d'une cour privative pour garer nos véhicules, chose qui aurait été problématique dans les rues du village.
Ainsi nous tenons à vous féliciter et vous remercier pour cette prestation, dont nous gardons les coordonnées sous le coude.
