"We spent 15 nights in the apartment in September and October 2023. We enjoyed it tremendously and would definitely book it again and strongly recommend others to rent it. The apartment was bright, inviting, spacious and well organized with everything we needed and more. The cupboards are well stocked and there was plenty of toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. Those things may seem trivial, but having an ample supply of them is always a good sign of a thoughtful of host. Jean-baptiste provided a very thoughtful set of instructions and suggestions, covering not only important facts about the apartment, but helpful suggestions about things to do in the area. The building has a concierge who has a key in case you are ever locked out and Jean-baptiste responded almost instantly on WhatsApp whenever we contacted him. Although the apartment is not located in what is traditionally considered a central location, we think it is pretty perfect. It is close to the Metro, bus, and definitely walkable to other arrondisements. It is not touristy, so it gives you a chance to enjoy a more typical daily Paris life experience. This seems to also translate into cheaper prices than more touristy areas. It was great to come home aftera long day to a quieter, more relaxed pace of the neighborhood. There is no lack of high quality places to eat and drink within 5 minutes of the apartment. Overall, a great place to stay. Jean-baptiste is a superb host. Highly recommended.

I LOVED staying at this apt. First of all, the owner, Jean-baptiste, was fabulous. He was always available to answer questions, was super helpful & hospitable, & was a wonderful person in general. He's the kind of person one would want to be friends with. Secondly, the location of the apt. was terrific. It's in a non-touristy area of Paris in the 12th arr., & it overlooks a small square which is full of activity. Six mornings a week, there are 3 markets there--an outdoor fruit & veg market, a flea market, & an indoor market in a building where they sell mainly cheeses, meats, fish, etc. The surrounding streets have lots of bakeries, cheese shops, wine shops, etc., as well as cafes/bistros/bars. The noise of the market setup starts by 6 AM, but it didn't bother us. It's about 10-15 min. to walk to a couple of different Metro stops. We felt completely safe in the neighborhood. For most tourist sites, you'll have to take the Metro because it's far to walk. In the evenings in the square, there are 2 outdoor cafes/bars-a fun atmosphere! The apt. itself is great. The toilet/sink is in a separate room from the shower room, which also has a sink. The kitchen is very narrow, but we didn't cook, so it didn't matter. The best thing about the apt. is that it has 2 enormous windows, which are actually doors onto a balcony. I loved looking out the windows at the activity in the square below, & looking west at Paris. My only suggestion: a trash can in the bedroom & bathroom.

Our stay was in December for 18 glorious days. The place is spacious, elegant, artsy, clean, modern, and comfortable. It stayed comfortably warm. The flat accommodated all our needs. Communication with Jean-Baptiste was superb and almost instant. The views of Paris from the spacious windows are fantastic. You can watch the Eiffel Tower’s beam in the distance from your bed at night. The very busy local farmer’s market and the Marche d’Aligre is a bonus. Everything you need is close by: the metros, the markets, first rate sidewalk cafes, restaurants and more. All the amenities mentioned in the description are accurate. We highly recommend this place and we look forward to staying here again.
