Very cozy house with a beautiful view of the dentelles montmirail. Many nice restaurants within a fifteen minute drive but the kitchen is also fully equiped. The garden is fenced, which was perfect for the dog.The hostess, Marie line, is very kind and helpful and has given us complete privacy. Also her husband is exceptionally friendly. We had a fantastic stay.

We loved this property. My wife and I were accompanied by 2 friends and we spent 6 days here in June 2022. The house is located in the village of Rasteau, a village we loved on first sight. In fact I would place the. Cote du Rhone area on the must-see list for France (FWIW we have visited every region of France and have lived in Paris). The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the region. The house itself is very comfortable and nicely finished and includes all the amenities you need for a wonderful stay. Marie Line greeted us at the property and showed us everything we needed to know. We also met her husband Jean Pierre. Both were delightful to meet. A terrific stay and highly recommended.

Perfect place to relax

We stayed at Les Belles Balades for 5 weeks and loved every minute of it. Isabelle was waiting for us when we arrived and she gave us a tour of the house and explained how everything worked. The house is perfectly well appointed, it has everything one needs from cooking utensils to serving platters to iron and ironing board. There were plenty of towels and linens. The pool and terrace are fantastic. We saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The weather was perfect and we had dinner on the terrace just about every day. One day our BBQ stopped working so we messaged Isabelle and the next day she brought and installed a new one. The Boulanger/bakery is about a block away and his pain rustique is fantastic. Buy your pain au chocolate, walk a few meters and sit at the and the main plaza cafe to enjoy it with a wonderful cappuccino. You will feel you are in a French movie. Rasteau is surrounded by beautiful vineyards and we took fantastic walks. All the paths are makes and easy to follow. Go to the tourist office in the main plaza and Sophie will give you all the information you'll need. On Fridays the tourist office offers an excellent informative walk around the vineyards which will help you get located. Vaison-la-Romaine is 10 minutes away. It has many restaurants, a medieval village, supermarkets and their morning Tuesday market is not to be missed! Biking, tennis and even ping pong were within easy reach. The neighbors and town people are very friendly and if you want to practice your French they will gladly chat with you. Thank you Isabelle for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend your place and hope to return soon.

The house situated in Rasteau is in perfect location for Cote du Rhone Vilage vinyards and domanies, and also for Vaison-la-Romaine. The property is spacious, modern, clean and very well equipped. The view over Dentelles is fantastic. There is a bakery, bar, convenience shop and a pizzeria/restaurant in few minutes' walking distance. Would love to visit again.

We spent 4 weeks in September/October 2016 at this beautiful house in Rasteau. The setting is magnificent. It has 90 degree views over the valley. Mt.Ventoux, the Dentelles and numerous villages are visible from the house. Rasteau is charming and with few tourists. There are endless hiking trails through the vineyards with breathtakingly beautiful views to the south and north. Unlike other parts of Provence, no vineyards are fenced, no trails or roads blocked and hiking is possible throughout the area for kilometers in all directions. The house is very well equipped. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen has everything one needs and all in working order. Evenings we grilled by the pool overlooking the valley. The bakery is 3 minutes walking distance and makes the most delicious croissants and pain chocolat aux amandes. Markets abound, with the one in Vaison La Romaine being the largest. One can visit a market nearby any morning of the week. The owners, Isabelle and Eric were a delight. They responded to all our inquires in a prompt and professional manner. A little piece of Paradise.....

We have just returned home after two and a half weeks in this lovely villa in Rasteau. The location of Les Belles Balades was wonderful with breathtaking views over the vineyards to the Dentelles de Montmirail which looked magnificent whatever the time of day. The gite is clean and well furnished with all household appliances in excellent working order. The swimming pool was more than welcome in temperatures that reached 35 degrees and after some lovely walks into the surrounding countryside. Isabelle is a very kind and discreet host and we thank her for her welcome. We could have stayed even longer but will just have to book for next year and repeat this amazing experience. Traumhaftes Ferienhaus, ausgestattet mit allem, was man benötigt. Wunderschöner Ausblick auf das Tal, die Weinberge und die umliegenden Dörfer, die Dentelles; wenn man ein paar Schritte geht auch auf den Mont Ventoux; optimale Lage für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Man kann sich ohne störende Nachbarn im Pool abkühlen und das Zikadenkonzert genießen. Je nach Wunsch gibt es immer ein Plätzlichen mit Sonne oder Schatten, jeder kommt auf seine Kosten. Bei Fragen war Isabelle immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit mit Tipps für den Aufenthalt. Dafür herzlichen Dank!

The house is situated in a very nice little village. The view is spectacular. The house itself is spacious with 2 modern bathrooms. The kitchen is very well equiped. The garden is not too big but has several places to either follow the sun or enjoy some shade. The epicerie in the Village is great! So nice not having to take the car to get your baguette and pain au chocola in the morning.

Endroit idéale pour se ressourcer un peu, avec deux jolies terrasse, une vue superbe jusqu'aux dentelles de MontMirail. Tout est bien enclôturer, ce qui est idéale pour voyager avec un chien. Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse à la mi-mars avec Isabelle et Eric et nous nous sommes sentis tout à fait à l'aise. Malgré le Corona, nous avons pu nous déplacer avec nos deux chiens dans les bois et les vignobles voisins. Après, nous étions toujours tranquilles à la piscine, l'environnement le permet La maison est magnifiquement située sur une colline à Rasteau et la vue est magnifique. Toutes les chambres sont confortables et ensoleillées, les matelas sont très bons, les salles de bains sont propres et adéquates. La cuisine est très grande et bien équipée et vous invite à cuisiner à l'extérieur, à côté du grill à gaz. Isabelle et Eric ont toujours été immédiatement disponibles et très serviables en cas de questions. Nous reviendrons certainement. Marlene et Martin Allemagne

Wir haben in diesem wunderschönen Haus und mit unseren Kindern und Enkelkindern einen sehr schönen und entspannten Urlaub verlebt. Alle Schlafzimmer, die Küche, das Wohnzimmer und der Außenbereich haben immer die Möglichkeit geboten sich zu entspannen. Der tolle Blick auf Rasteau und die Dentelles ist phantastisch. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist hochwertig. Der Ort Rasteau ist klein und sehr ruhig. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank an Isabelle und Eric A bientot
