About this house rental
La Maison d'à Kôté is a 4-star-rated, self-contained vacation rental for 2–4 people, located in an old stone house that we have completely renovated. It is situated in the countryside in Singrist-Sommerau, in a quiet setting in the Alsatian foothills. Situated at the gateway to the Northern Vosges, 30 km from Strasbourg and near the start of the Wine Route, the cottage allows you to easily explore the region and then return to the tranquility of the countryside in the evening.
In Alsace, there are numerous tourist attractions and a wide variety of activities. The region’s generous and authentic cuisine will delight all food lovers.
The cottage, renovated in 2021, is attached to our house (first floor), but it has its own separate entrance and a private garden.
INSIDE THE GITE
With a total area of 60m², it consists of:
- a large, bright living area that opens onto a fully equipped kitchen (induction cooktop, oven, microwave, Tassimo coffee maker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine).
- A spacious bedroom with a 140×200 bed and a large closet.
- A living area with a sofa bed featuring a comfortable 140×200 mattress, separated from the main living room by a sliding wooden barn door.
- A bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, a large double-faucet sink, a towel warmer, and a toilet.
The accommodations are equipped with underfloor heating and air conditioning.
All linens (bed linens, bath towels, dish towels) are provided free of charge. The beds are made upon your arrival.
The cottage is equipped with Wi-Fi. Two TVs (digital terrestrial + satellite) are installed in the living room and the family room.
We can provide a crib and a high chair free of charge. Please specify this when making your reservation.
The cottage is non-smoking and does not allow pets.
THE OUTSIDE OF THE COTTAGE
Outside, the cottage features a paved area with a pergola.
Garden furniture and a barbecue are provided.
A private 300m² garden, enclosed and planted with fruit trees, adjoins the cottage.
A private parking space is reserved for you in our courtyard, which is secured by a gate.
A key box will allow you to check in independently as soon as you arrive.
In our garden, we have chickens, a rooster, and geese. A dog and a cat are also part of our family.

Two fantastic weeks spent at this gite. The accomodation is faultless: recently renovated, spotless and modern inside with a relaxing terrace and its own garden. Everything has been thought of to ensure a positive experience. The owners really went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, providing information on some great locations to visit. Beautiful landscape and forests providing great hiking and walking trails. We made several trips to Strasbourg (30 minutes drive) which is a very beautiful city with lots to do, aswell as more local villages and towns including Marmoutier and Saverne. Easy access from Calais (about 4 hours drive) One of our "top" holidays in France and one we will be definitely repeating in the future. Thankyou very much!
