About this house rental
Chantal & Christian are pleased to welcome you to their renovated cottage in 2014, located in Birkenwald, Alsace.
This beautiful house, has a superb flat foot, spacious 130 m2, which can accommodate up to 6 people. The apartment has an individual entrance. You will marvel at the direct view of the deer and deer park from our property.
Escape to this small village of 300 inhabitants, near the forest to admire its landscapes and its castle of the sixteenth century. Hike, enjoy nature, discover our Alsatian specialties with our two gourmet restaurants.
Here nature is king. We invite you to relax to the quiet surroundings: take the time to pause and open your senses; listen carefully to the songs of birds, the call of the deer. Rediscover the smell of the air, flowers and even that of the earth.
Residents adjacent to the cottage, we are at your disposal to direct you to the different sites, cities and monuments to visit (Strasbourg, Saverne, etc.). 5km from the village shops.
Discover our beautiful Christmas markets (Strasbourg, Colmar, Kaysersberg)
Taste good pie outbreak, pretzels and all of our other Alsatian culinary specialties .... Allow yourself to simply live!
We have:
- Two bedrooms with double beds
- One bedroom with two single beds
- A large living room with flat screen TV and DVD player
- A dining room
- Fully equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, hob, multifunction oven, microwave, senseo ect ...)
- Equipped bathroom with shower and washing machine
- W. C. separated
- Parking spaces in the private courtyard
- A green area with garden furniture, barbecue
- Petanque
- Ping pong table
- Sandbox for the little ones
- WIFI connection
The bathroom and bed linen are provided.
We would like to inform you that our cottage is non smoking and pets are not accepted. The cleaning fee is 50 euros, option at the end of the stay.

You come with a 'little bit' travel light! We can provide you with the necessary equipment for free (bed, high chair, bath, changing mat etc ...).

Fabulous property in a beautiful village location. Everything is very well presented and very clean and tidy.
Chantal, the host, is most agreeable and accommodating, and will go out of her way to help if you wish it, or leave you alone to your own devices if you don't.
I highly recommend a visit to the area for all the sights and sounds Alsace has to offer and the warm welcome you will receive..

Christian and Chantal were awesome! When we had car trouble, not only did they drive me to the rental car agency (one hour away), they also made dinner reservations at a local restaurant (highly recommended) and also gave us breakfast supplies as we couldn't get to a store. We will be back.

Absolutely loved this place. Modern and immaculate. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Our host was so accommodating and friendly. The home has everything you need to stay in and cook.
Will definitely go back there the next time we visit Strassbourg!
