About this apartment rental

La Ferme de Marie is an authentic Alsatian farm restored in an ecological way respecting the tradition, it is located in a large Alsatian farmhouse from 1607.
We only used natural materials, lime, linseed oil, mud, wood wool ..... The old stones, the old woods, the alcove, the neat decoration make it a museum house is a truly unique experience!

Louise's stub is a 1 bedroom apartment on the ground floor of our Alsatian farm.

At your disposal a park and a large garden, a shaded terrace, the space is enclosed by stone walls.
The space revolves around several gardens or flowery spaces that we maintain without chemicals.

The site is particularly aimed at lovers of old stones, nature, calm and animals (rabbits, donkeys, goats, chickens, geese, ducks, etc.).

La Ferme de Marie is a warm and cosy house, beautifully decorated, a wonderful antique restored alsacian farm, charmingly done, a very special place. It is also very good located, in Rangen, a quiet and beautiful village, where is easy to park, and just half an hour drive to Strasbourg through a beautiful countryside road. No wonder it is " La Maison Préférée des Français". Is a stunning accommodation. We will always be very greatful to the owner, Fred , for your amability and generousity, you were very kind. Thanks for everything.

Although we loved the idea and style of the accommodations and farm, we did compromise on some levels. The room had natural light but to have privacy., the shutters had to be closed which made it very dark. And although there were lamps, there were not any extra outlets for recharging cellphones or a cpap machine so the lamps had to be unplugged. The bathroom was dark and the towels did not dry overnight. The linens on the fold out sofa did not feel crispy clean. The house cat was very friendly, we liked that.
