About this cottage rental
Located 20 minutes from the D-Day landing beaches and the fishing port of Port-en-Bessin, the gîte de la Charreterie will be an ideal holiday place for your stays with family or friends. This typical Bessin house will offer you the calm of the countryside 5 minutes from the local shops. (Ideal for lovers of history, nature, fishing, water sports, equestrian sports...)
Gite on 2 levels of 95 m² with garden of about 700 m²
On the first floor:
- A large living room composed of a kitchen/dining room, a living room with TV, a sofa bed (140 cm) and a second non-convertible sofa
- a separate toilet
On the 1st floor:
- two bedrooms with in each bedroom 1 double bed (140 cm) and 1 single bed (90 cm)
- a bathroom with bath/shower
- an office area
Central heating, 1 iron with ironing board, garden furniture, parasol, barbecue
Check-in time: between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Check-out before 10 a.m.
Parking: possibility to park several vehicles inside the property or park outside in front of the property

Lovely property, well stocked and clean with large garden and a genuinely warm host. It's an ideal location for visiting the fascinating Normandy beaches and surrounding countryside. My children recommend going to Bayeux adventures.The village is a gem with a delightful APC run by the community who made us all feel very welcome during our stay.We'll definitely be staying there again said my wife.

A beautiful, tidy home in quiet Normandy countryside. An idyllic French farmhouse. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish as we visited the Normandy D-Day beaches and museums. Laurence and Jean are so responsive and provided helpful suggestions.

We are a group of friends visiting the Normandy d day beaches and sites of interest a little further in land
The location of our gite was perfect our property owner was really friendly parking was ideal for our 2 ww2 jeeps and back up Land Rover the property itself was very well equipped clean and tidy we would not hesitate to stay at this property again
