Close to everything in the medina - Authentic renovated Moroccan house

We spent 1 week in Marrakech as a group of 8 friends. Ali and Jannat, the hosts, are extremely lovely people, very hospitable. They were only in the house in the morning to prepare our breakfast, the rest of the day was completely private. We were able to use the riad, which is actually designed for 10 people, for eight people without any other guests after prior enquiry. We would book there again at any time.

Ali and jannat were very friendly and helpful with everything. The riad was very clean and they offered a number of services. I would highly recommend this riad.

De l'accueil guidé lors de notre arrivée, des petits déjeuners copieux aux produits locaux, aux magnifiques chambres (déco, salle de bain superbe, etc...), tout était parfait! Petits et grands, nous recommandons tous ce riad très calme, pause idéale après des journées trépidantes dans les souks :)

If you are reading those reviews wondering whether to book - just book it! I have stayed in many other hotels and guest houses around the world and this is up there with the best. The property - this is a stunning traditional riad, attention to detail was impeccable, it was very comfortable for us (luxurious in fact as a family we had a bedroom and en suite each!). All the rooms are stunning and individual, so much so that my daughter struggled to choose ‘the best’ 😅. The kitchen is well equipped, but we only used the fridge for drinks as Jeanette and Ali came in daily and made us a fabulous Moroccan breakfast that was huge!!! We also made use of their chef on 2 occasions to get through the menu and both meals were amongst the best we had in Marrakesh and amazing value. We even went with them to see the clay over under ground where 1 fish was cooked! The roof is well kitted out and has the sun all day - very hot but there was a hose which cooled us down on occasions!! There is also a large shaded table and day bed to get out the sun if required. There is a spiral staircase to the second and top floor so any mobility issues may be a struggle. The whole riad is beautiful, traditional and spotless. The hosts - Jeanette and Ali are wonderful and accommodating, from my numerous messages prior to arrival with very prompt responses, to walking with us to different places so we didn’t get lost! They had soft drinks in the Riad for our arrival on our request and Jeanette’s English is amazing (she speaks another 3 languages too!) so no issues in communicating. They had great recommendations and were on hand whenever required, and made restaurant reservations for us when asked, and called various places and relayed information. Jeanette even shopped with us on last day so we had the best prices and were not ripped off! They made our holiday sooo much easier. The location - the location was fabulous within walking distance to everywhere. There is a food market right outside which is traditional, so that was a bit of a shock but you quickly pass it and you are in the souks. the market is a little smelly but you cannot smell it from the Riad which is down a side alley. They allowed us to bring in alcohol during Ramadam which we got from the airport and were not in the slightest bit judgemental. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend here or stay again. Such a wonderful stay, place and people.
