About this house rental
Spend your vacation in this beautiful Provençal-style village house. It is the former bakery of the village of Cabrières d'Avignon. A very charming, peaceful spot located close to many of the Luberon’s attractions and pleasantly removed from the tourist crowds. Here, after a long day of exploring, you can retreat to relax and enjoy the tranquility, unwind on the terrace, or cool off in the small pool.
In the village itself, just 100 meters away, there is a bakery, a butcher, and a grocery store. A lovely bistro on the central village square invites you to enjoy good French cuisine.
The house is furnished to a very high standard; from the kitchen to the linens, only the very best quality has been selected. On the first floor, the old baking oven is a real eye-catcher. On cooler days, you can use the fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen is right next to the living room, and there’s also a guest restroom.
Upstairs, there are three full-sized bedrooms for 6 people, as well as another small room with a sleeper sofa that can accommodate up to two additional guests.
The bedrooms are air-conditioned, and the first floor features underfloor cooling (or heating in winter).

Beautiful home in a very quiet, quaint neighborhood of stone houses near Gordes. Gated entry into the property with parking for two cars if needed. Very nice and private outdoor area with 4 chaise lounges to relax on, and a nice outdoor dining area beside the swimming pool.
The main level opened into a large open space with two couches and a dining table, a nicely appointed kitchen, bathroom (toilet and sink), and laundry room with washer and dryer. Four bedrooms upstairs, and shared bathroom in the hall with toilet and sink. The master bedroom was very nice, with comfortable king sized bed, and two steps down to a bathroom with claw foot tub, large walk in shower, and vanity with dual sinks. The second bedroom included a comfortable queen size bed, and a bathroom down the hall also with claw foot tub, walk-in shower and dual sink vanity. We didn’t use the other two bedrooms as our party was two couples. Overall we enjoyed our stay here, but did feel the home was not properly described on the booking site. Bathroom 1 was listed as tub, toilet, shower, while bathroom 2 listed toilet and shower. This was not accurate for either bathroom, and was not what we had anticipated. It would be helpful if the description included a schematic of the villa’s interior so that one could view the actual setup of the bathrooms and bedrooms.
