About this apartment rental
One-room apartment on the 4th floor with new vinyl flooring, a great view of the World Shipping Route, and a private beach chair (May 1–Sept. 30) on the beautiful sandy beach of Döse. Comfortable for 2 people, featuring a separate, fully equipped kitchenette with a 2-burner stove and refrigerator. The living area includes a dining table with a bench, a fold-down bed, and two cozy lounge chairs. Cable TV is available. The bathroom features a bathtub and two sinks. The apartment also includes a large balcony. The underground parking space has a clearance height of 149 cm. The owner also provides guests with a parking permit for the municipal parking lot in front of the building.

The “Jan am Strand” apartment building captivates with its maritime ambiance and is situated in a prime location, directly behind the dike. The picturesque sandy beach of Döse is just a one-minute walk away. Depending on the apartment’s location, those on the north side enjoy an exclusive view of the International Shipping Route and the Wadden Sea, an UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. On the south side, a sun-drenched spot with an enchanting view of the countryside awaits you.
All apartments are comfortable and accessible via elevator, and each comes with an assigned underground parking space. Both the apartments and the penthouse units at “Jan am Strand” feature balconies or spacious terraces.
The Spielkogge at the Döse Beach House is within sight, and the expansive “Seeräuber” adventure playground in the spa park as well as the heated seawater outdoor pool on the beach are within walking distance. Washing machines and dryers are available in the building.

Notice for guests at “Jan am Strand”—heating system construction work
From 03.11.2025 until approximately 12.12.2025, the heating and hot water systems at “Jan am Strand” will be replaced.
• Hot Water: A temporary hot water supply will be available during the work. Please note that the flow rate may be lower than usual.
• Heating: During this period, only portable electric heaters (e.g., oil-filled radiators) will be available in the apartments, as central heating will not be possible.
• Noise Disturbance: Due to the dismantling and installation work, construction noise is to be expected during this period.

Wie aus Ihren Unterlagen hervorgeht, habe ich in den letzten Jahren immer das Apartment 409 gebucht und habe schon bei meiner letzten Teilnahme Ihres Fragebogens moniert, dass mir die Möblierung auf dem Balkon nicht wirklich zugesagt hatte (unbequeme Stühle und ein "kippeliger" Tisch). Dieses mal war ich allerdings angenehm überrascht, dass sich dies nun geändert hat durch wesentlich komfortabelere Stühle sowie einem neuen Tisch. Es war somit noch sehr viel angenehmer, vom Balkon aus das Geschehen auf See zu beobachten.
