This renovated, allergy-friendly 2-room apartment on the 3rd floor offers you everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The spacious balcony offers a stunning view of the Weltschifffahrtsweg, and from May through September, you can also enjoy your own beach chair on the sandy beach—included! The apartment features allergy-friendly vinyl flooring and includes a cozy living area with a corner sofa that can be converted into two sleeping spots (120 cm wide) if needed. A dining table with four chairs provides ample space for shared meals.
In the separate bedroom, a comfortable double bed ensures restful nights. For entertainment, you’ll find cable TV, a stereo system, a DVD/CD player, and free Wi-Fi. The modern bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet. For added convenience, the apartment has its own underground parking space with a maximum height limit of 195 cm.

Depending on the apartment’s location, those on the north side enjoy an exclusive view of the International Shipping Route and the Wadden Sea, an UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. On the south side, a sun-drenched spot with an enchanting view of the countryside awaits you.
All apartments are comfortable and accessible via elevator, and each comes with an assigned underground parking space. Both the apartments and the penthouse units at “Jan am Strand” feature balconies or spacious terraces.
The Spielkogge at the Döse Beach House is within sight, and the expansive “Seeräuber” adventure playground in the spa park as well as the heated seawater outdoor pool on the beach are within walking distance. Washing machines and dryers are available in the building.

Notice for guests at “Jan am Strand”—construction work on the heating system
From 03.11.2025 until approximately 12.12.2025, the heating and hot water systems at “Jan am Strand” will be replaced.
• Hot Water: A temporary hot water supply will be available during the work. Please note that the water pressure may be lower than usual.
• Heating: During this period, only portable electric heaters (e.g., oil-filled radiators) will be available in the apartments, as central heating will not be possible.
• Noise Disturbance: Due to the dismantling and installation work, construction noise is to be expected during this period.

Unsere langjährigen Freunde, die Eheleute Theo u. Gerda Born, waren viele Jahre Gäste im Haus Jan am Strand, und durch diese (und auch mit diesen) waren wir desöfteren, d.h.seit etwa 15 Jahren Gäste im Jan am Strand, zwar nicht regelmäßig jedes Jahr, jedoch geschätzt waren wir mindestens 10-mal (vielleicht auch mehr) in Ihrem Haus und kommen sehr gerne, wenn es die Gesundheit zulässt, immer wieder gerne!
Wir hatten ein ganz tolles Wetter u. somit nur schöne Erlebnisse!
