About this apartment rental
Completely renovated one-room apartment on the 4th floor with a balcony and lake view, plus a beach chair (May 1–Sept. 30) on the sandy beach. Living/sleeping room with a fold-out bed, couch, two armchairs, TV, and Blu-ray player. Fully equipped open-concept kitchen with built-in table and 4 chairs, 4-burner stove, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Bathroom with spacious shower, sink, and toilet. The free underground parking space has a height limit of 1.49 m. The owner also provides guests with a parking permit for the municipal parking lot in front of the house. (Jan. 1–Dec. 31)
Complex:
The “Jan am Strand” apartment building captivates with its maritime ambiance and is situated in a prime location, directly behind the dike. The picturesque sandy beach of Döse is just a one-minute walk away. Depending on the apartment’s location, you can enjoy an exclusive view of the International Shipping Route and the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, the Wadden Sea, on the north side. On the south side, a sun-drenched spot with an enchanting view of the countryside awaits you.
All apartments are comfortable, accessible via elevator, and come with a designated underground parking space. Both the apartments and the penthouse units at “Jan am Strand” feature balconies or spacious terraces.
The Spielkogge at the Döse Beach House is within sight, and the expansive “Seeräuber” adventure playground in the spa park as well as the heated seawater outdoor pool on the beach are all within walking distance. Washing machines and dryers are available in the building.

Notice for guests at “Jan am Strand”—heating system construction
From 03.11.2025 through approximately 12.12.2025, the heating and hot water systems at “Jan am Strand” will be replaced.
• Hot Water: A temporary hot water supply will be available during the work. Please note that the water pressure may be lower than usual.
• Heating: During this period, only portable electric heaters (e.g., oil-filled radiators) will be available in the apartments, as central heating will not be possible.
• Noise Disturbance: Due to the dismantling and installation work, construction noise is to be expected during this period.
