Kalithea Vacation Villa with a Private Pool, Ocean Views, and Island Charm

Villa Kalithea offers all the amenities you need for a wonderful and relaxing vacation in Crete for up to six people. The breathtaking views of the Cretan Sea, Dia Island, and the mountains are just a few of the many highlights. On the 2,000 m² fully fenced property, you’ll find a 60-square-meter pool (which can be covered with a child-safe cover if needed), spacious terraces, a bar with a sound system, a herb garden, a lounge area, an outdoor charcoal/gas grill, and a lovingly and authentically designed garden. Unwind by the pool overlooking the sea or under the olive trees!

The interior leaves nothing to be desired either! The 150 m² of living space includes three bedrooms with double beds, two bathrooms, a living-dining room with an open fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen. The house also features an office, a fitness area, and laundry facilities in the basement. Wi-Fi is available, as is air conditioning in the living room, the bedrooms, and the fitness area. A child seat, high chair, or crib can be provided upon request. Insect screens and electric shutters are additional amenities at Villa Kalithea.

The villa is located in Pano Gouves ("Upper Gouves"). It’s wonderfully secluded from the hustle and bustle, yet not far from town. From the house, it’s a short walk down the hill to the village square (approx. 800 m). Here you’ll find a supermarket, a café, restaurants, a bakery, and a doctor’s office. Pano Gouves is just 16 km from Heraklion, the capital of Crete.

Kato Gouves ("Lower Gouves") is 3 km away. There, several beaches invite you to swim and relax—but there’s also plenty to do for adventure seekers and children. The town also features various shopping options, bars, and taverns. Additionally, there are other shops, such as pharmacies and doctors’ offices. In addition, you’ll find travel agencies in Kato Gouves that can advise you on all the activities available on the island. A rental car is the ideal way to get around Crete and discover the most beautiful places on your own. If needed, we can help you with the rental car and you can get a discount from our partner using our code. On the property, you’ll find parking spaces as well as a covered parking spot. The entrance gate opens electrically.

The minimum age for the primary renter to make a reservation is 23 years. Smoking is permitted only outdoors. Parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and similar events are not permitted. Thank you for your understanding!

Between stays, the entire property undergoes a thorough cleaning in accordance with COVID-19 standards. To ensure this, one day is blocked off between bookings.
