About this apartment rental
Our tastefully furnished “Grachtenrefugium” duplex vacation apartment isn’t just called a “refuge”—it truly is a retreat for up to two people seeking peace and relaxation. The spacious, south-west-facing apartment is located in the new Grachtenpark I next to the Landhaus Steinfeld, right on the Siel, and offers a beautiful view of the hotel’s park and the water with boats passing by.
The living and dining area with kitchenette, flooded with light through its many floor-to-ceiling windows, is modern and furnished with an eye for detail. Here you’ll find a dining table with five chairs, a comfortable seating area made of soft leather, and a cozy reading chair overlooking the water. A smart TV and an internet radio (DAB and Bluetooth) are provided, as well as a selection of books for rainy days. The kitchen is fully equipped and features, among other things, a quiet dishwasher, an induction cooktop with a convection oven, a microwave, a filter coffee maker, a Nespresso machine, a refrigerator, a kettle, a toaster, and an egg cooker. The balcony, which gets sun from morning until late afternoon, is furnished with two folding armchairs with cushions, a table, and two umbrellas.
On this level, there is a bedroom with a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m with memory foam mattress toppers) and a large closet with ample storage space, even for longer stays. In the brightly tiled, natural-light-filled bathroom—featuring a super-shallow glass shower and a heated towel rack—you’ll find a washer-dryer. A hair dryer is, of course, also provided.
The storage room contains a separate freezer, an iron, an ironing board, and a clothes drying rack.
The studio, with its modern, nautical decor, is also flooded with light thanks to two skylights facing each other and a floor-to-ceiling window facing west with a view of the hotel’s park. This space can be used as an additional living area or as a workspace for those who want to work remotely from time to time. There you’ll find a height-adjustable desk with a swivel chair, a comfortable couch, two armchairs, and another smart TV.
Throughout the entire apartment (except for the studio), underfloor heating ensures a pleasant, warm environment when needed. The living areas and bedroom feature dimmable downlights, allowing you to customize the lighting just as easily as with the existing designer reading lamps. All windows are triple-glazed and equipped with double roller blinds or pleated blinds. The main windows also have fly screens. The bedroom and the two skylights in the studio are equipped with electric exterior shutters.
Free Wi-Fi is available (on-site registration required, no encryption). We cannot guarantee unrestricted availability or sufficient speed.
Our apartment is a non-smoking apartment. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
One parking space is included with the apartment; in front of the house, you’ll also find a lockable storage shed with a charging station for your e-bikes and bicycles. There you’ll also find a handcart, which you’re welcome to use to transport your luggage from the parking lot to the house if needed. If needed, additional, non-assigned parking spaces are available at Grachtenpark I.
Starting immediately, we can offer you charging stations for electric cars at the Greetsiel Grachtenpark (for a fee based on usage); however, we cannot guarantee permanent or unrestricted availability.
There is a communal dock that you are welcome to use, for example, to launch your own boat. The town center, with its picturesque harbor, shopping, and many restaurants and cafés, is just a few minutes’ walk away.
This accommodations are available for rent during the Easter and fall breaks for stays of five nights or more, with no fixed check-out day.
The Zinnenhuus 1 and Zinnenhuus 2 accommodations are located in the same building; other accommodations in Grachtenpark I include An’t Grachten, Binnen un’ Buten, Grachtenblick I, Grachtendrööm, GrachtenGlück, Grachtenhüsje, Haifisch, Hampton Huus, and Sielzeit.
Due to construction work in the immediate vicinity, we unfortunately cannot rule out occasional noise and/or dust disturbances.
