Dlx-Bungalow 1st row, dreamlike private complex directly by the sea/pool/internet

Cosy apartment in beautifully kept, spotless small complex. The pool was never busy and was very clean, the grounds were tidy and clean, very pretty and direct beach access via secure gate. The apartment had everything you needed, even baby cutlery and bowls and fishing gear. Full kitchen setup for cooking and laundry, and dishwasher. No English tv if that’s important to you but didn’t bother us, the Wi-Fi is good and free. No air con but 2 fans, it was hot but it was Lanzarote in August and there is a lovely breeze from the beach as it’s so close. Yes there were some ants but it’s a hot country and it wasn’t a problem, just kept all food in the fridge. The view from the terrace is beautiful and you can walk along the path or beach to other beaches and restaurants. There are supermarkets and a small shopping centre within walking distance and buses to other resorts and attractions close by. The airport is only 10 minutes in a taxi but there isn’t any aeroplane noise, just the occasional low murmur. There is an 85 euro final cleaning fee but the apartment was spotless for our arrival so that’s fair enough I feel. The host met us and was helpful and friendly. Playa Honda is a quiet area, but close to busier areas if you want them. The beaches were clean and not busy and the whole place had a relaxing feel. We would stay again.

Lovely comfortable bungalow with everything we needed. Great location and so nice to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Compact kitchen but very well equipped with everything we needed. Spacious bathroom with good shower. Very comfortable bed and plenty of wardrobe space. The negatives? Quite a walk back up to the car and sometimes hard to find a parking spot. Infestation of small white insects on the terrace made it uncomfortable to eat or sit outside in the evenings. We tried supermarket sprays but as fast as we got rid of them they came back. A really strong insecticide is needed to clear them!
