Ancient remote cottage with beautiful views. Great base to explore the area. Peaceful and lovely wood burner. Lovely stay

It was old, full of character and history. The gardens were fabulous to explore, as was the surrounding area. We have to go back because there was too much to do in one trip alone. We also want to go back to see how the owner progresses with all the renovations on the grounds. He was so interesting and friendly to talk to. It's just beautiful and so incredibly peaceful. Our dog and toddler were able to roam free in the garden whilst we enjoyed the views. At night it is soooooo dark. You forget how beautiful the sky is with all the light pollution, then you visit somewhere like here and it makes you not want to go home. 1000% recommend.
