Hotel B&B CHAMBERLAIN

We loved the hosts. Alan and his family were so kind and welcoming. They were very attentive and checked in with us often to see if we needed anything. They even helped us optimize our ferry route back to the mainland and were calling around locals to check for space on the ferry. Ah, and also the breakfast included was very nice.

La atención personalizada súper amable y gentil en todo momento. Nos llevaron hasta el centro de Hvar para tomar el ferry. Luego del check out. El desayuno es simple pero tiene varias opciones que son suficientes. Hay una cocina común con utensilios para preparar algo básico.

Está alejado del centro de Hvar en la playa de Milna. El taxi para ir al centro o volver es caro sale 30 euros y no hay Uber. Los buses cuestan 3 euros por persona pero tienen muy pocos horarios diarios. Se puede llegar al centro caminando por la montaña. Son aprox 5 km. Para llegar a la habitación del hotel hay que hacer una subida por una calle que con maletas es algo exigida.

I couldn’t get the room completely dark. Maybe a blackout curtain would be nice if you like to sleep in the dark.

Perfect location in Milna. However, we did not have a car so if we had know that public transportation is basically non existent we would have stayed in Hvar. But a really nice and helpful girl at the hotel offered us lifts to Hvar which made our stay easiere and we really appreacited that. Milna is a very small village but really nice. We had great food and wine. Even found a very local wine maker up the street where we bougth yummy white wine. A highlight on our trip was a walk along the water from Hvar og Milna. Very beautiful and we bumped into several reallly nice beaches with few people. If we had not stayed in Milna we would probably not have know about this walk. Also highly recommend to rent a car and drive around Hvar. We really enjoyed that.
