Villa Mare is contemporary and beautifully furnished four bedroom villa situated in north east Corsica and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. It has two double bedrooms on the first floor (both have balconies), one with ensuite bathroom and one with ensuite shower room. On the ground floor there is a twin room with ensuite bathroom and another double room with ensuite shower room. On the ground floor there is an open plan living room and fully fitted kitchen as well as a laundry room. There is good outdoor space with a seating area, gas plancha and private swimming pool (7m by 4m) which is heated up to 14th June and from the 14th September. There is a restaurant, open only in high season, a 10 minute walk away with the town of ille Rousse, and its shops and restaurants, a 5 minute drive. Villa Mare can be reached from Calvi airport in 25 minutes or 1 hour and 15 minutes from Bastia Smoking - not allowed. Where the airport side road meets the main N193(T20) bear right and then continue on the N193(T20) when it veers left in a kilometre or so. 2. It takes you across the mountains to Corte (Corti) and then onto Ponte Leccia. 3. On arrival in Ponte Leccia you will come to a roundabout, where there is a Super U supermarket to your left. Take the 2nd exit, going straight ahead on to the N197(T30) signposted Ile Rousse and Calvi. 4. Continue on the N197(T30). After approximately 29km this road reaches the coast and takes you to Ile Rousse (L'Isula Rossa). 5. Continue on the N197(T30), through Ile Rousse up the hill towards Calvi. At the crest of the hill there is a roundabout with a Leclerc supermarket to your right. Take the 2nd exit straight ahead. 6. Continue for 2.5km. On your right you will see a small house with an orange roof. Start to slow down and just past the bend on your right you will see the entrance sign to Marine de Davia. Turn right here and drive through the archway. 7. Continue on this road for 200m, then take the first turn right onto Boulevard des Oliviers. After 200m there is an unmade road on the right and a signpost marked “Roulez au Pas”. Turn right here. Please take care on this dirt track as it can be very uneven. 8. Continue along this track for 200m, it then becomes resurfaced – continue for a further 100m. You will see a large white property straight ahead on the left – this is Villa Mare. The entrance gate to Villa Mare is on the left-hand side, after the villa, approximately 75m before the railway crossing. Slide the large gate to the right if it is closed and enter. 9. Turn into the driveway, and park in the parking space to the right next to the villa under the trees. From Bastia Airport (approximately 1 hour 20 minutes; 76km) 1. Once you have left the airport, after 1.2km you will come to a roundabout. Go straight ahead over the bridge and take the 1st exit on the right signposted Calvi N193 (T20). 2. Continue on this road for 1.2km then take the 1st exit signposted Calvi and Ajaccio. At the roundabout go straight over and continue on this road for 1.5km until you come to another roundabout. Take the 2nd exit signposted Calvi and Ajaccio. Follow this road for 1.2km to the next roundabout and take the 1st exit for Ajaccio, Calvi, Corte and Ile Rousse on the N193(T20). 3. Continue on the N193(T20) for 28km. On arrival in Ponte Leccia you will go over a bridge and come to a roundabout where you will see a Super U supermarket facing you. Take the 1st exit right onto the N197(T30) signposted Ile Rousse and Calvi. 4. Follow the directions from Ajaccio airport from step 4. From Calvi Airport (approximately 30 minutes; 19.8km) 1. Turn right out of the airport. After 3km you will come to a roundabout. 2. Take the 1st exit to your right onto the N197(T30) signposted Ile Rousse. 3. Stay on this road for approximately 14km and you will pass through (in the following order) Lumio, Algajola and Aregno Plage. 4. After 15km you will approach Davia. On your left you will pass the shops La Foire Fouille and King Jouet. Continue past here and go straight on at the next roundabout. 5. Continue for another 200m, just past a sign for Ile Rousse 4km and to your left you will see the entrance to La Marine de Davia. 6. There is a stone wall with a no entry sign on the first entrance, then just after the stone wall is another entrance. Turn left here. You will see a sign saying Marine de Davia, Propriété Privé. Ignore this and drive through the archway. 7. Follow the directions from Ajaccio airport from step 7. From Figari Airport (approximately 3 hours 30 minutes) 1. The car park exit is on the right as you face the terminal building. At the exit to the car park bear right to join the road (the left turn takes you back to the terminal). Continue straight on for approximately 3km until you reach the roundabout. 2. At the roundabout take the second exit and continue on this road for a further 18 kilometres until you see a Total petrol station on your right. 3. At this point you will come to a roundabout, take the 3rd exit and continue down this road (T10) following the signs for Bastia for a further 70 kilometres, until you reach the town of Aleria. 4. At Aléria, turn left onto the N200 (T50) towards Corte. On arrival in Corte take the N193(T20) towards Ponte Leccia. After approximately 21km you will arrive in Ponte Leccia. You will come to a roundabout, where you will see a Super U supermarket to the left. Take the 2nd exit, going straight ahead onto the N197(T30) signposted Ile Rousse and Calvi. 5. Follow the directions from Ajaccio airport from step 4. Welcome to Villa Mare!
