About this apartment rental
This lovely 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment can sleep 6 people and has stunning views of the golf course and swimming pool from each of its 3 large balconies.
The accommodation is equipped with garden furniture, barbecue, free internet (Wi-Fi), 3 x balconies, central heating, air conditioning throughout the house, TV/Satellite (Languages: Spanish, English, German, Dutch, French, Norwegian etc.), radio, DVD.
In the kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, oven, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, dishes/cutlery, kitchen utensils, coffee machine, toaster and kettle are provided.
Around the resort you will find numerous communal pools, children's areas, Tennis & Padle Courts and lots of parking.

Mar Menor Golf Resort is one of POLARIS WORLDS premier resorts with a 18 hole Jack Nicklaus Design course which will challenge all levels of golfers and lots of on-site facilities, Spanish and Asian Restaurants, Irish pubs, bank and supermarket. All around the 5 star Inter-Continental Hotel. The Boulevard also offers lots of restaurants and some showing sports events so really are spoilt for choice.
The Area
The Costa Calida is situated in the south-east of the Iberian Peninsula. To the north lies the Costa Blanca and to the south lies the Costa de Almeria with a total of 250 kilometres of coastline.
Blessed by the mild Mediterranean climate it has at least 315 days of sun per year. Minimum temperatures range between 12-14C and maximum temperatures between 20-22C in winter. Summer temperatures vary between 18-20C minimum and between 30-35C maximum. The average annual temperature is 18C.
The seawater is warm and very pleasant for bathing. It is unique in that there is a peninsula which runs parallel to the coastline thus forming the Mar Menor (small sea).
The people are gentle and helpful, the whole region is well worth taking the time to explore and the good living is to be enjoyed.

When complaining about a few things i.e. no internet, a leaking boiler in bad condition and unsufficient pluming causing bad smell in the bathroom we had very promt and excellent response and things were put right.
It would be good for guests sitting in the sofa to have a table in front of the sofa. There were only 4 chairs at the dining room table which is not enough when 6 quests are staying in the apt.

Comfortable apartment overall. Good living space for 1 or 2 couples.
Lack of small saucepans in kitchen - 2 small non-stick saucepans needed. Where do you hang a toilet bag or a dressing gown in the bathrooms ? A real lack of hooks.
Very limited TV coverage. A pity there are no satellite channels.
No access to the underground parking and therefore a security risk for outside parking. A second controller to access the carpark is essential.
