Keepers Cottage has the best of both worlds. Holiday at your own pace in a self-catering home to call your own, while also having access to the dining, spa, and leisure facilities on your doorstep – situated as you are on the grounds of The Dartmouth Hotel, Golf & Spa. The pool and tennis courts are yours to enjoy. Relax and dine at your leisure preparing your own fine meals to dine around your own table or let the clubhouse chefs do the work for you. The choice is always yours.
The beautiful riverside town of Dartmouth is only a 5-minute drive away with its superb array of shops, restaurants and boat rides on the river. The quaint village of Dittisham is also nearby - from where you can catch the quick ferry to Agatha Christie's exquisite holiday home and gardens at Greenway. Superb beaches are also within striking distance at Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands.
Accommodation:
A beautifully-presented cottage with an open-plan living/dining and kitchen area. The modern kitchen is well equipped with integrated dishwater, washer-dryer, NEFF oven, fridge, freezer, and microwave.
The living area has ample comfortable seating for the whole family and a delightful French window that opens down into the courtyard garden (5 steps) - perfect for al fresco dining and relaxing after a day's exploring.
On the first floor, there are two generously-sized en-suite bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, and bedroom two has a 4ft double bed and a 3ft single bed.
Ground source heat pumps provide the heating and hot water.
Outside:
French doors lead out from the lounge space down a few steps into the patio area - furnished so that it's great for dining al fresco, or simply relaxing while taking in the idyllic countryside views.
Dartmouth Hotel, Golf & Spa Complex
The cottage has full access to the spa and tennis courts. Admission to the 18-hole championship golf course can be booked at the hotel - it has the most outstanding views. Golf lessons and access to the putting green are also available to hone your skills. The restaurant is only a short walk where you can enjoy a wide menu throughout the day. The spa offers one of the only Rasul treatments in Devon (all information and how to book treatments can be found on The Dartmouth Hotel, Golf & Spa website).
Parking:
There is one allocated parking space on site and additional ample free parking in the main car park. It's then just a two-minute walk along the path to Keepers Cottage. There are then two ways to get to the cottage itself - either via 24 steps to the front of the cottage, or a more-accessible ramp to the side of the communal lawns.
Nearby:
The Dartmouth Golf & Spa is across from the car park and offers two exceptional golf courses, a bar, a restaurant, and a leisure and spa complex with a swimming pool. The 18-hole championship golf course has the most outstanding views. Beyond the grounds, you are a one-minute drive from Woodlands Leisure Park. historic Dartmouth, and the beaches at Stoke Fleming are a 5-minute drive away.

Cottage was a bit smaller than the photos seem to show but perfectly fine for our week stay.
Made full use of the tennis court,pool and pool table in the bar.
Could have made location of bins clearer as had to ask reception as not visible from the front of the hotel.
All the staff very helpful,especially the bar staff,drinks a bit pricey though.
Minor moan,the sealing around the shower tray was grubby and could probably do with replacing with fresh mastic.
Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider returning

The beds were very soft. Not good for golfers backs.
Well set out cottage and every thing you need.
Service and staff at hotel were excellent.
