Elegant and comfortable apartment, recently renovated, located in the historic centre of Catania, in a side street just off the central Via Etnea. The apartment is on the first floor of a small historic building (please note, there is no lift in the building) adjacent to Via Crociferi (the heart of Catania’s baroque neighbourhood and a UNESCO World Heritage site) and villa Cerami with its eighteenth-century monumental entrance gate.
Via Penninello is full of bars and restaurants, but this is not a problem as the balcony double-glazed French doors and the wooden shutters block out the sounds from the street almost totally.
Its position makes it an ideal place for exploring the city.
The one-bedroom apartment (64 sqm) with high-vaulted ceilings consists of:
- Living room / Kitchen / Dining area.
The main door opens up into the living room from where one has direct access to the double bedroom (accommodates two).
A large French door gives light to the room and offers direct access to a small balcony from which one can admire the beautiful villa Cerami’s 17th century entrance gate and the animated via Penninello.
The room is equipped fitted with air conditioning (hot/cold) with dehumidifier.
