This is a beautiful home. My three sisters and I go on two weekends a year with our Mom, who turned 89 during our stay. It's important that we can sit comfortably together in one space and just hang out and enjoy each other. This place provided comfortable spaces inside and out and it's right in the center of everything, with views of the lake. We had a wonderful weekend.My only recommendation would be some kind of bars in your beautiful walk-in shower. Mom was afraid of falling with nothing to hold on to. A minor inconvenience.

Wonderful location. The house had everything we needed - the kitchen was especially nice. It was advertised as having 2 queen beds, however, one of the beds was smaller than queen-size. Overall, a great place to stay.

We had a wonderful experience at this home! We had a 5 night stay with 2 young kids and 4 adults and it was the perfect size for us. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. It took us awhile to find the pots and pans, but they were tucked in the corner base cabinet. There were plenty of nice towels and blankets. The beds were very comfortable, even the trundle bed mattress.My kids absolutely loved the playground at the park across the street. It’s such a nice playground and we went there every day. The house is near the public beach which was a huge reason we booked this house in order to walk to the beach. Unfortunately the water wasn’t very nice there. Maybe it was just that time of year or lake/weather pattern, but it was green with algae and seaweed. It was also pretty rocky at the shoreline. We checked it out once and we were disappointed but it’s no fault of the house. We ended up driving to East Harbor State Park beach and Kelley’s island beach.The only somewhat negatives is that there were quite a few tiny ants on the floor in the dining area as well as one of the bedrooms. The house does not have a grill. We ended up buying charcoal and using it at one of the grills at the park across the street.We had such a fun week up at the Lake Erie Shores! The house was close to so many things. We did day trips to Kelley’s Island, Put-in-Bay, and Cedar Point along with stops at Twin Oast and Gideon Owen Winery. We would definitely recommend!

House was perfect for our group of 3 senior couples. Very clean, well-equipped, and we loved the location right across from the lake/beach and across the street from a lovely park. Close to restaurants and the Jet Express too. We would definitely stay there again.

The house was perfect for 75-year-old high school friends to gather. There were 4 of us and we enjoyed every minute of our time together. The neighborhood was quiet, the neighbors were kind and friendly, and there were great restaurants near by. A lovely little park is across the street.

The location was great and the decor pleasing but housekeeping was not up to par. We loved the proximity to the lake (although lake view is only partial from front porch). There is a beautiful park across the street and we enjoyed sitting in the comfy porch furniture and relaxing. However, there are issues that should be resolved. First, the vertical blinds in the master bedroom have several slats missing, allowing unwanted light at night and privacy issues. The dining area carpet is rolling up at the corner, creating a trip hazard. No dishwasher detergent or scrubbing utensil was supplied, and we had to buy our own. We had to wash the frying pans before using them, and we found a thick gooey spill on the countertop on arriving that housekeeping had missed. We were supplied with one hand towel and a bath washcloth in lieu of tea towels but no hand towels in the bathrooms. Only decaf coffee was supplied, and the outlet near the coffee maker was not working. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, but the hall bath had a loose toilet roll holder that kept dumping the roll to the floor. We did enjoy our stay, but housekeeping and maintenance need to up their game. A last note: we enjoyed the frequent sound of the trains but some may find those distracting!

We had a really good time at our rental. The house was as stated in the description. Everything was nice and clean when we arrived. Our host was very accommodating with flexibility in our arrival. We didn't need to change our plans, thank goodness, but they were very helpful with options.

Comfy little house, quiet stay, perfect for our family for a little birding trip to Magee Marsh and a visit to Put-in-Bay. I only gave 4 stars for the ant army that came in for one crumb on the floor! Also the master bedroom had a few missing panels on the vertical blinds and when the neighbor’s flood lights came on, in the middle of the night, it woke us up. Overall though, it was a great stay! Thanks!

We have used vrbo many many times. This property was advertised as lake front….it is far from lake front, my husband was counting on that. We did not check in or check out, property was not as advertised & we would like a refund. We can show you the map of the house & the map of the water FRONT….far from water FRONT. Our group of friends takes a yearly getaway to enjoy being together, and this week was special. The beautiful modern cottage just across the street from the Lake and a lovely city park couldn't have suited us better. Every amenity was available in the home, and the small city has a variety of restaurants and activities for every age. We just may come back next year!

We loved the house and felt it was extremely clean upon arrival with one major exception. It appeared that the lawn had not been mowed for at least a month. The grass measured 10-12 inches long! This is not an exaggeration! Also to advertise it as “waterfront property” is misleading. The lake is around the corner and across the main street. Those were the main things that bothered us. However the home is lovely and nicely furnished.

The property was exactly as listed and very clean. It's a great location with many restaurants nearby. They have a great book with information of things to do and ratings of local restaurants. The Jet Express is very close and Miller's Ferry is not far if you want to take a day trip to Kelley's Island or Put-inBay.

The house and area is nice. There is only one key to the house so it was a big inconvenience. The beds were not comfortable and very noisy. The air quit working while we were there due to a dirty air filter but was taken care of very quickly.

The house was clean and new, location nice. Only one complaint. The "Smart" TV gets lot of channels, but no local TV. We like to keep up on local weather forecasts plus local / national news. An HD antenna would probably get Toledo broadcast channels.
