The sunroom has a table for games and opens to two decks, one on the front and one on the back. There is plenty of space to relax and spread out with a good book or catching up with loved ones. The dining table seats 12 so the whole family can eat together! There is a deeded access to get to the canal for launching your own kayaks to explore the beautiful Back Bay!

The ground level has a queen bedroom with an attached sitting room with Smart TV and full bath that can function as the kid's suite or a family suite for young families with small children. It's an easy walk across the street to the path leading to the ocean beach access on Sandfiddler Road. Spacious, clean, bay view from outdoor deck. A quick walk to the beach. Hot tub nice in early mornings and evenings. Full kitchen but you need to bring all your own spices etc to cook with.

The VRBO pictures did not tell the whole story. This was an extended family vacation over the Thanksgiving
Holiday. The check in process was seamless and well explained. The pictures did not show the dated house aesthetics. The carpets were egregiously dirty, several large stains on the furniture and the bathrooms and kitchen were dated. The neighborhood was fine with good beach access. The note about the stairs is very true. The inside stairs were not appropriate for the elderly. The sunroom was excellent and the WiFi was adequate. The manager was very responsive. Overall, not a horrible experience but we would not rent again.

We had a wonderful time exploring beautiful Virginia Beach while visiting our son who is in the Navy before he is deployed this month. We have family in Maryland who came to stay as well, and the house was perfect for all. Since we came from out of state it would have been nice to not have had to buy so many of the basics though - only one roll of toilet paper left in each bathroom, no liquid dish soap or sponge in kitchen. Other than that, it was quiet, and we loved exploring the neighborhood & beaches with spectacular properties often exclaiming to each other "who are these people and what in the world do they do for a living?" Would definitely recommend!

Although the property is listed for 12 people, we didn’t feel it even accommodated the 8 people we had comfortably. The dishes had burned food I guess from the previous guests, the double sink bathroom had some black like feces around the toilet, and there was dirty blanket in the closet thrown on the floor.
