A fully furnished North Fork estate suited for extended stays. This spacious 4-bedroom home offers a private heated saltwater pool, hot tub, large fenced yard, and multiple indoor living areas designed for comfort over longer stays. The property includes a chef’s kitchen, dedicated workspaces, laundry, and flexible bedroom layouts that work well for families or multi-month renters. Located close to Sound beaches, farm stands, vineyards, and Wildwood State Park.
The Space:
VRBO guests: This home is best suited for longer stays and seasonal rentals. The layout provides separation and privacy, with multiple living areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and furnished bedrooms designed for comfortable day-to-day living. Outdoor amenities, including the pool and patio areas, are seasonal. Please review availability notes below or reach out with questions about longer-term stays.
Make yourself comfortable in this 4 bedroom home with 3 full bathrooms that comfortably sleeps 9. The bedroom upstairs has a King master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, a Queen bedroom, a double bedroom with full size and twin bed, and an office with a daybed. It has a centralized AC and heat and comes with a large chef's kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, stocked with cookware and spices. The 2 living room spaces with TV comfortably seat large parties - an open floor plan with remote controlled propane fireplace. There is also a 65-inch smart Samsung TV in the family room, a dining room table that easily extends seats to 9, multiple desk spaces (with monitors), and privacy for a work-from-home setup. There is also a sofa bed available in the living room area with a privacy door and can sleep 2 people. This space is perfect for family member who has mobility issues. You have access to the laundry room with a modern washer and dryer that can be used for free. The brand-new Peloton bike awaits your visit here - just bring your shoes!
The patio is also brand new with a Weber grill, couch seating, table, chairs for 8, and a fire pit. It has a fully fenced-in backyard oasis with lounge chairs, a hammock, and lawn games for you to enjoy! There is also a hot tub that comfortably seats 7, a sprawling backyard, an attached garage (with an extra refrigerator), and a large driveway.
Amenities include pack and play, iron, blow dryers, toiletries, bedding, towels for bath and pool, cookware, and spices. We also provide beach chairs (6), umbrellas (3), coolers (2), kayaks, and paddle boards!
Additionally, we've recently added a game room with table tennis for your enjoyment.
It is just 3 minutes away from Sound Avenue, which leads to all the North Fork wineries and farm stands, 0.5 miles from Long Island Sound beach access which is extremely private and boasts beautiful sunsets, 25 minutes straight easy drive across the island to Ocean beaches, and a 30-minute drive to West Hampton. For those who love hiking and biking, Wildwood State Park is just down the road from the house. Our favorite is Andrews Farms where they have the best pies!

Seasonal Availability of Outdoor Amenities
Please note that all outdoor amenities, including the pool, patio furniture, grills, and other exterior equipment, are typically stored away between Columbus Day and Memorial Day. If you have specific questions regarding these amenities, feel free to reach out to us for more information.
Due to the climate of the Northeastern U.S., outdoor pools and attached hot tubs will typically only be available for use from Memorial Day to Labor Day. If your booking falls outside of that time frame and you intend to use the pool/hot tub, please be sure to inquire if they will be available for use prior to booking.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- There is a standard pet fee of $200 per pet, per stay. An additional $100 may apply for dogs that shed excessively.
- For stays over 21 days, please note that any extra utility costs beyond the initial charged amount are the guest's responsibility.
- Properties with a heated pool incur a daily pool heat fee of $45.
- The property is subject to a $95 hot tub fee per cleaning service.
- For reservations of 29 nights or more, a refundable deposit will be collected prior to arrival. Our Team will reach out for further details upon booking.

There’s an old film from the 1960s, Brigadoon, where a magical village appears for just one day before vanishing again. Staying at The Lindsey feels a bit like that—so perfect, so improbable, you wonder if it exists once you leave.The backyard is the heart of this home. Mornings began with coffee in an Adirondack chair overlooking a private park-like lawn. The crystal-clear saltwater pool is surrounded by loungers, umbrellas, and even two submerged chairs for reading while you cool off. From morning to evening, the patio offered something for everyone—lunches by the Weber grill, s’mores around the fire pit, and hot tub soaks under the stars.Inside, the house is spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The primary suite features a large spa-like shower, while additional bedrooms easily accommodated our family. The kitchen is fully stocked and opens to a casual family room with a big sectional and smart TV. We also enjoyed the elegant dining room, the sunny breakfast nook (which became our Lego HQ), and the garage with a second fridge, pool table, and dartboard.The biggest surprise was Wading River itself. Sunflower fields, farm stands, and a calm, timeless atmosphere made it feel worlds away from the bustle of the Cape or Berkshires—even in peak season. The Lindsey isn’t just a vacation rental—it’s a place where mornings spill into long afternoons, and nights stretch happily into memory. That’s if it exists at all — until next year!

The property manager was adequately helpful.
The vacation rental was very clean.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

As the picture shows, the pool at this house is very nice as are the grounds outside. We found the house to be comfortable but there were several things that were broken or didn't work that we were disapointed with given the price we paid. Which by the way, the price listed on the LuxuryBeachGetaway website was apparently incorrect for our dates of stay so we ended up having to pay more. So if you're using that site I would verify the price before confirming. Back to the house. It is comfortable and nice. However, the fireplace did not work (out of propone as the handyman explained to us when he checked it - so it did not work during our stay), the dishwasher leaked, the drain appeared to be clogged, the handyman did not want to deal with this. The bedframe in the master bedroom needed to be fixed so that the mattress would not deeply sag. A handyman had to come and fix that. There were a couple of other somewhat minor issues. In the end, we have stayed at many properties on Long Island and elsewhere and for the price, we feel this property did not justify the price.
