We enjoyed our stay at this home for a 3 night girls trip of 4. Great location to the beach. Access is right across the street and restaurants are within walking distance or just a short drive. You can also see the ocean from the porch! The kitchen was stocked with all cookware we needed to make meals. I'm sure I could mention small things if I were to be picky but overall, the home was cozy and clean. Would stay here again.

Our crew really enjoyed the week with lots of beach time. Accommodations and the location are good. Loved the outside showers, hoses and close proximity to the beach. The main road can be busy at times. Being dog friendly was a must for us. Some of the outlets in the kitchen made the lights flicker and the appliances are a bit dated. Has all the cookware you could need but no extra trash bags, paper towels or basic cooking items (oil, seasoning, etc). Grocery is close by. Holden is a family beach with a chill vibe but not much night life.

This is a great place for a young family! Excellent location, very close to the beach. Yes, you need to cross a busy street to get there, but that’s just how Holden Beach is laid out, and the house is directly across from the public beach access point. The house was clean, and everything worked as expected. Host was great with communication. For take out, we highly recommend the Hot Buffalo, as well as Castaways to dine in, both of which are within 5-10 min drive from the beach house.

The house was more than “ a few steps” to the beach. Kitchen not equipped with enough utensils. Not even a vegetable peeler. Dish washer did not clean dishes most times and door would fall on your feet when opened. Top shelf also slid open constantly when trying to unload. Refrigerator too small. Slow in making ice. Traffic noise was horrific. Dangerous crossing road. Wiring in house iffy. Sometimes outlets would work, other times not. Kitchen counter outlets had dimmer switch when outlet used light became strobe. Lighting inadequate in outside showers. Tv’s difficult to use. Remotes didn’t work. No dvd player even though there was a bunch of dvds. Considered the listing misleading in the pictures especially with the main road in front of house. The cost was exorbitant for what was provided. Will not use VRBO again.
