POND: The stocked pond on the farm is available for catch-and-release fishing (there may be a few poles at the house or bring your own) and swimming. (at your own risk)

FIELDS: The field behind the home to the tree line is yours to explore. You may on occasion see a farmer coming up the driveway or working in the field.
Due to its remote location, there are a few things to keep in mind:
*The WIFI works well, but it is not quite strong enough for consistent streaming. We recommend downloading anything you'd like to watch ahead of time, casting from your phone, etc.
*Cell phones will work well when connected to the wifi.
*We promise to resolve any unforeseen maintenance issues that may arise as quickly as possible, but ask for your flexibility in understanding the limitations to being a rural location.
CLIMATE CONTROL: central heat and air
PARKING: there is plenty of parking on the gravel driveway for vehicles of all sizes (boats, RV's, etc.)
CHECK IN: Guests check in with a personalized code anytime after 4pm.
MOBILITY: For any guests with mobility issues, there is a side door that can be used to eliminate any steps into the home.
PETS: We allow up to 2 well-behaved dogs per stay for an additional $100 fee per dog. Here are the requirements:
Dogs must be up to date on flea & tick treatments (proof provided upon request)
Dogs are not allowed on the furniture
Dogs will be crated when owners are not present
GUESTS WILL HAVE USE OF THE ENTIRE HOME! You are likely to see a farm worker on the driveway or in the field on occasion, but the farmhouse will be yours.

This place is an absolute gem!!! We loved it and will definitely stay here again! The home is gorgeous! The kitchen is beyond amazing! It was well stocked with every utensil and appliance we could have imagined! The area is so relaxing and quiet! Went hiking to the top of Terrapin Mountain (it’s a doozy!) and just enjoyed ourselves thoroughly!!!

The home was absolutely breath taking on the inside!!! It also had everything you would need to prepare a meal in the kitchen with a open concept. The entire house was clean from top to bottom and The host was amazing. My daughter was graduating and they took time to hang a congrats graduate banner, it was so beautiful. They also baked us some cookies with a warm welcome note. If you're into nature they have a trail close by that my sons went on a hike and enjoyed. They also have a awesome patio and a beautiful deck you can go outside and enjoy. I would definitely stay again.

Highly recommend staying at this gorgeous home in the mountains! It was clean, cozy, and so relaxing. The massive wrap-around porch with rocking chairs was serene and peaceful. Huge open area in the kitchen and family room allows for entertaining and hanging out while experiencing the beauty all around you. The three bedrooms were very spacious and the rooftop lounge area was enjoyed by all of us. Driving distance to Liberty University is about 35 mins but a beautiful drive. Only thing I would mention is there were a lot of lady bugs inside upon arrival but that is to be expected this time of year and was easily taken care of and did not alter our weekend at all. Host was easy to get hold of. Definitely would stay here again and hope to soon.
