TURTLEBACK OASIS! Mins to Lake, Hot Springs & Golf

The house was lovely! The location was absolutely perfect! Beds were comfortable and it was very clean. The separate ice maker was AWESOME. For some reason, the hot water heater quit working the 2nd day...AFTER we came home from a LONG day at a golf tournament. When I finally figured out that I had a cell phone number to call, help was on the way! 2 of us took cold showers while waiting for the repairman to arrive. The repairman said he fixed the breaker that had tripped, and we were good to go...only to find out in the morning that we still had no hot water. Hopefully, it's an easy fix because we plan on booking the house next year as well. It's a GREAT rental!

The space was beautiful and comfortable. The views were spectacular. Unfortunately there was no toilet paper in 2 of the 3 bathrooms and the one that had toilet paper in it, there was only a 1/4 roll left. The hand soap dispensers were mostly empty. The hot tub was not in working order and the big swing shown out on the patio was not available either. We loved the house, location and view. But, the lack of some basic amenities was quite disappointing. Brandon was available and communicated but with no results. I had requested someone come look at the hot tub and to bring us toilet paper. We purchased our own TP and went to a local hot spring for a soak. I would stay here again, but would want the owner/operator to ensure the house was thoroughly ready for guests and all advertised amenities would be in working order. We truly enjoyed our stay, other then the issues stated.

The hot tub water was green so we weren’t able to use it. The BBQ grill didn’t work. The garbage disposal didn’t work and water kept backing up whenever we ran water in the sink. The sheet pan in the cabinet was old and rusty so we couldn’t use it. The shower in the master bathroom had super low water pressure. After a couple weeks after our stay and checking my account daily, I asked the host when I could expect the 1500 damage deposit back (twice) and never got a response. I finally filed a complaint/dispute with my credit card company and two days later the deposit was refunded. If all the problems listed were repaired, we would love to stay there again, and had planned on going back later this month.
