About this apartment rental
Welcome to Bayside #5, a newly renovated 2 bedroom condo with all new furniture and amenities! A great view of the Laguna Madre from the balcony on the second floor. Sleeps up to 6 people with two queen beds and a full size air mattress. All linens provided as well as beach towels and beach chairs, a beach wagon and cooler for the beach! Spectrum cable TV and free internet, and full size washer and dryer. A full kitchen with all new pots, pans and utensils, microwave, stove/oven, Keurig coffee maker, blender, toaster, cups, wine glasses and more. There is NO POOL at this complex. NO PETS allowed. Minimum stay of 2 nights is required.
IMPORTANT: You are booking a private beach home. As much as we like to please your every need, we DO NOT work as hotels do. We are not a 24/7 service. Any overnight requests, other than REAL emergencies, will be look after the next day. If there is an emergency that threatens a persons life, please call 911.

The owners of Bayview #5 welcome you to their beach home! While staying here, we ask that you follow a few requests that will make everyone’s stay more enjoyable and keep the property looking good year after year.
1. Parking ~ is limited to 2 vehicles. Please park ONLY in the parking space of unit 5 and or marked as "guest." Vehicles must be licensed, operable and registered to the occupants. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owners’ expense.
2. Occupancy ~ Maximum capacity per unit is NO MORE than 6 guests. There must be at least one adult 21 years of age or older, registered, present and residing in the unit through the duration of the tenancy.
3. Pets ~ We DO NOT accept pets in our property. The knowledge or trace of unauthorized pets will mean a fine of $400.
4. Noise ~ Loud noise of any sort; music, loud talking, boom boxes, etc. is not allowed.
5. Garbage and Tidiness ~ Garbage should all be disposed exterior dumpster on the sides of the building. Please DO NOT dispose of cigarette butts, cans, candy wrappers, trash on the ground. We work hard to make certain the property looks good when you check in. Please help us keep it that way by picking up any litter before you leave.
6. Pool ~ Sorry, no pool in the building.
7. BBQ ~ No BBQ pit is included.
8. Once booked, we will send a custom Rental Agreement for you to complete and send back to us. Without this agreement we will not be able to host you.
Blue Ocean Vacation Rentals provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 2 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, 4-6 coffee pods and and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged.
Do not hang towels from the balcony or windows. A $100 fine may be applied if you break this rule.
Subletting not allowed.
Note: The owners of this property will NOT allow Spring Break activity on the premises.
Check in is easy and available 24 hours a day with a smart lock on the entrance door.
The smart keypad door code will be provided to the guest about 48-24 hours before arrival.
Hosts will be available for check-in assistance up until 10 pm, we ask that guests arriving late please let us know via text.
Service Animals need to be with the person they service 24/7. Service Animals cannot be left alone in the property. A service animal left alone in the property is not a service animal and will be penalized with a $400 fee.
Childs highchair and/or pack and play are available by request at $25/each, billed on a separate invoice.
"Early" check in and/or "Late" check out will be available, when possible, at a charge of $55 for each occurrence.
For special requests outside our scope of work, please message us to get our Concierge's contact.
Date changes might be granted depending on the date of the change for a $100 change fee plus any difference in price.
Cancellations for nightly reservations will receive a 96% refund if they are made more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date. Please note that a service fee of $25 will also be charged for all cancellations, regardless of the timing. There will be no refund if the cancellation comes is made This policy does not extend to bookings that are eligible for monthly discounts.
The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 8 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.

Me and my husband had an amazing time staying here. I strongly suggest renting a golf cart because sand was everywhere in the car our first trip to the beach. We rented a golf cart the second time went back to the apt and utilized the chairs and beach towels provided by the hosts and enjoyed the beach. Literally everything you need for the beach is provided by the hosts. The only issue with this stay was the master bathroom shower door was missing so we placed a towel outside the shower so water wouldn’t go everywhere but other than that this place was perfect! We will definitely rent this place again in the future.

This beach house was really pretty. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was clean and organized. There were beach towels to use. The patio had a good view and it felt very relaxing. I recommend this beach house. Communication was great. One little issue was when I tried to unlock the door to the condo I had to contact them because the code was not working besides that everything was good.

We showed up to the condo late and we had it booked for the long weekend. Our 1.5 year old was not interested in sleeping, understandable after a 9 hr drive. We finally got him settled. The next morning he was running around and the downstairs neighbors kept beating on the ceiling. We literally had to carry our toddler all morning bc anytime we put him down, the neighbors beat on the ceiling. Not at all this condo owners fault, but it was very uncomfortable for us and we did decide to move to a different first floor rental. I did let this unit owner know that we only stayed in their condo for 6 hrs instead of the 3 days we paid for. Very little response from the owner. I didn’t expect a full refund, but a little something could have been nice. However, it was completely our decision.
There is also no door on the en suite bathroom shower and caution tape around the patio that didn’t allow us to even utilize the first picture of the listing that is so cute. Otherwise, the condo is well stocked, very clean and was definitely comfortable enough to stay in.
