About this house rental

Be our guest at the sister house of Phoebe’s lakefront home. This wonderful place was recently, fully renovated by a prominent Columbus architect. No expense or detail was spared. Open first-floor layout with gorgeous views of open water. Enjoy our outside screened-in patio with a couch, table, and chairs. Outside enjoy a gas grill with propane overlooking the water. We try to maintain full propane but in the event it’s empty, there is a refill station at Lakeview Hardware. (10 minutes away) Send us the receipt for full reimbursement. You will not find a nicer home or a better view of the lake. Come see for yourself! You can also stay at Phoebes Lakefront house 8 minutes away and also lakefront!

Rent a boat and hook up to our sea wall with dock cleats. Bumpers for your boat are required.

About this house rental

Be our guest at the sister house of Phoebe’s lakefront home. This wonderful place was recently, fully renovated by a prominent Columbus architect. No expense or detail was spared. Open first-floor layout with gorgeous views of open water. Enjoy our outside screened-in patio with a couch, table, and chairs. Outside enjoy a gas grill with propane overlooking the water. Booked for my daughter’s bridal party for her wedding at the lake. House was beautiful! Girls loved it and enjoyed the stay. Only downside which we were aware of was parking. There is not much space for more than 2 cars but we managed.

The views from this house and the upstairs bedroom are amazing! Overall, my family had an enjoyable and relaxing time staying here. This house is located on an extremely tight one lane road with houses tightly packed next to each other and located right against the road, so getting in and out in an suv can be a headache.We were traveling with aging parents and often do, so we always like to make notes about accessibility. There were only a couple of steps in the front and the back of the house, but both sets were steep enough to create Issues for both of my parents. The couch and one of the chairs in the living room sit extremely low, so neither my parents nor some of the family that visited us could utilize that seating. The house is not listed as accessible, so there were not any accessibility bars in the bathroom, which was expected, but there was also not an alternative option, such as a counter next to the toilet, that could be used for stability while standing up. The shower had a small step over, but was usable for both of my parents.

Very nice house. Beautiful view of lake. I was however a little disappointed with a few things. The fireplace did not work, no shampoo, dish soap, or paper towel provided as indicated. We thought the house could have been cleaner overall and the parking was very difficult to get in and out.

The property was excellently appointed, everything is modern and updated! The house has a great flair and style, with well thought-out lighting and decor. This house has everything you need appliance-wise to make your stay comfortable, with a great kitchen if you want to cook, lots of restaurants/diners if you don't, and the screened in porch is very nice and comfortable! This is a lovely house on Indian Lake. Huge family/dining area with open floor plan. Highlight of the house, other than being almost brand new and super clean, is the beautiful screened porch across the lake side of the house. Great, comfortable seating area, no bothersome bugs-beautiful.There is a fire pit with chairs and a dock if you have a boat. I'm listing the sleeping arrangements because it was not clear to me in the description. Pretty much 3 bedrooms. 2 bedrooms on first floor. One has a FULL SIZE bed. The other bedroom has a set of bunks which also are FULL SIZED BEDs. There is a seperate 1st floor shower/bath Second floor has 1 bedroom - the master, which is HUGE. There is a King bed and chairs by the window to watch the lake. The laundry is in the master/closed off with a door. The Master bath is gigantic. We could have put a port a crib in there if needed. There is a loft area that you walk through to the master as you come up the steps that is open to downstairs. It has a built in twin. Our 3 year old grand daughter loved it. The entire house is well done. It's very new, very clean and very nice. There is no coffee pot. BRING KEURIG pods in case what you like is not provided. Another great thing about this house. You don't need to haul paper towels, soaps and trash bags. The owners provide all that. Linens are also provided. Push the easy button. Just show up!!! Highly recommend this house. We will be back!

First lake house getaway. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the house. The large vent next to sofa was overflowing with dust, oven was crusted with food inside & dishwasher was dirty inside so we didn’t use either. There was no remote for tv in living area. I should have asked about coffee machine but didn’t & took 2 types of filters & coffee but there was a small k cup machine with no k cups there - had to go buy a coffee maker. The new dock was great.

We loved our stay at this house! It is updated & very clean. Only note I have is to be aware that the listing is not entirely accurate on number of bedrooms - it lists 4, but there are truly only 3 bedrooms. The 4th is a nook/loft space outside the primary suite on the 2nd floor (not a separate room/closed door option). We are flexible so no issue for us, but for those looking for 4 true bedrooms this would not be accurate. Overall, would recommend for a trip to Indian Lake & would stay again!

We were there for the solar eclipse and had a spectacular trip. Despite the recent tornado, the community was so friendly and welcoming. #strongerthanthestorm The host, Phil, was super responsive and easy to communicate with. The sunsets on the lake were breathtaking.

We had a phenomenal time at the lake in January. The lake froze over and we enjoyed the serenity of sipping coffee and watching the geese work across the frozen lake. The house was beautiful inside and out. The master bed and bath are BEAUTIFUL and the downstairs created the perfect hangout spot for our group. The host was a great communicator and incredibly nice. We would 10/10 recommend this property any time of the year, but really enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake during the winter season.

The house was located right on India Lake with a screen porch facing the water. Sunsets were beautiful and we enjoyed the boats, ducks and geese on the water. The beds were comfortable, with two bedrooms downstairs and a bedroom and loft sleeping area upstairs. The owner was easily accessible by message or phone. We had a great visit!

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was nice inside and out. Really enjoyed looking at at the lake with my morning coffee. We will definitely consider coming back again. We met the hosts and they are a great family and responsive to any needs.

It may have been so cold the lake was partially frozen and we weren't able to enjoy the screened-in porch, but the views were amazing and the gas fireplace made us feel warm and cozy. High-end appliances, a coffee bar, barn doors, a huge master suite, and so many other amenities made our decision for a last-minute trip an easy YES! Phil made sure we made it safely and our needs were met during our stay. We hope to be back again soon!
