The City of Scottsdale limits occupancy in a dwelling unit to no more than six adults plus their related, dependent children. By renting this property, you agree to comply with the city's occupancy requirements.
In order to operate vacation rentals within this city, we are required to provide a basic criminal background check for all guests. This requirement is for the safety and security of full-time residents and guests alike. To perform this check, we need a date of birth and a permanent address for the reservation holder.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. We enjoyed our two-month stay at the Delightful Dream in Scottsdale very much. The condo is nicely appointed and equipped with essentially everything needed for a long stay. The patio is great for dining outdoors and the pool area is well maintained. The condo's location makes it easy to walk to stores and the Old Town. It's also adjacent to cycle paths and near one of the free bus routes that Scottsdale offers. Except for a short road trip, we were pleased with not having to rely on a car.
Vacasa's on-site management was very response. When a problem arose they sent someone immediately to make the necessary repair. This is a great benefit for guests.
There are a few things, however, we'd like to point out for the benefit of the host and potential guests. First, we felt that instructions should be provided for the Roku TV system, especially for those unfamiliar with it. We gave up trying to understand how it worked. Also, the condo is situated on the ground floor. This has benefits in terms of accessibility but drawbacks in terms of noise (owing to poor sound insulation). Finally, the online listing indicated that guest would be subject to a police check. We called several times prior to our arrival for clarification but never learned if or how this was done. This process should either be better explained or made more transparent.

We really enjoyed the month we spent in this unit. There is everything we needed for an extended vacation including a well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and a washer and dryer in the unit. The complex has an excellent fitness center complete with weights and machines. The pool and spa are nicely heated and were rarely crowded. It is located on the Scottsdale Greenbelt bike path and you can go south for about 5 miles to get to Tempe Town Lake or north for about 10 to get to Shea. 1.5 miles from Old Town Scottsdale. Both beds are comfortable and bathrooms are very clean. We had a great stay. Would definitely come back again.

I had a great experience staying at this rental. It was a safe, comfortable place in a great location! It had all the essential amenities. I would recommend it to anyone and hope to stay there again!
